I caught you guys with less than 10K subscribers when I was doing work for my former employer out in Longmont. Every time I had to travel for business I was hoping I'd see the hatch or the van. So far it hasn't happened, but I'm happy to see how much progress you have all made since you were strapping down batteries with cloth belts from Target/Walmart and making just a few hundred wheel horsepower in Wago or the hatch back when Charlie was still around. To help the wheelies at the track just use sandbags... Take and get 5 sandbags and throw 1 sandbag in the front of the car each race untill you get to a good enough weight to keep the front down. We use this every weekend at the track and works great

Remember when the Viper was the most powerful production vehicle because it made 500hp and 500lbs of torque from its 500 cubic inch (about 8 liters) V10. Now we have cars like this mr2 making 1025hp (on low boost) at only 2.4L so its basically 1/3 the size of the engine in that Viper. Crazy.
I have a feeling Kyle is going to announce soon that he is moving to Florida, he kinda hinted around about it a while back, would miss all of the crossover content with him and the PFI crew though.

Just remember every time you crank on the new engine, every time you make a pass or a dyno pull you might as well count that as one full pull and especially making over 1000hp you need to keep track of how many passes you have on those set of rods because the fact that aluminum rods stretch alot easier than steel rods do..... Every time the engine gets warm the rods began to stretch and then get cold so every oil change which should be somewhere between 5-10 passes take the main caps and rod caps off and check the bearings and as long as they look good don't go over 20-25 passes on a set of aluminum rods without tearing the engine completely down changing all the bearings out and the rods and keep the road and dyno driving to a minimum on aluminum rods as long as you do those things and keep up on general maintenance then you should be ok

the mr2 needs a 2 or 3" suspension lift on the rear. that would reduce the cars ability to wheelie and help launching

LOL, you guys cheering me up. Got my CL9 all back together and my immobilizer is acting up, will contact the Dealer to try to get the Emergency Brake Bypass Code. Contacted Hondata as my Flashpro refused the last firmware update. It's been a grind. All my wiring is fine. I'm gonna take the ECU out as the dealer mentioned a corrosion recall. Never had a Honda i couldn't get going, but this ones pushing my buttons. Ran for 3 days, Rips like a motha.

Just remember every time you crank on the new engine, every time you make a pass or a dyno pull you might as well count that as one full pull and especially making over 1000hp you need to keep track of how many passes you have on those set of rods because the fact that aluminum rods stretch alot easier than steel rods do..... Every time the engine gets warm the rods began to stretch and then get cold so every oil change which should be somewhere between 5-10 passes take the main caps and rod caps off and check the bearings and as long as they look good don't go over 20-25 passes on a set of aluminum rods without tearing the engine completely down changing all the bearings out and the rods and keep the road and dyno driving to a minimum on aluminum rods as long as you do those things and keep up on general maintenance then you should be ok
