I led this panel in baldness.
Fr you carried
And in handsomeness 🥺
True
And beard
This made my day thank you Mr bald mann
Every time Sim said the F word. Mark’s heart dropped because he knew he had to go back and bleep out all of the F bombs LOL
Let’s see if Marc learned how to not be awkward when they are talking
Looks like he did do way better this time
😂
I think I helped him there by being the most awkward person on earth
@@FivePointsVids felt
@@FivePointsVids took one for the team
The one about judge aged well 😂
The mets take was dead accurate
Marc posted more in the lockout than this season
And your point being?
His team is fucking crushing he’s probably too busy enjoying the season to make vids
Thanks for having me on I had a lot of fun. I still think you’re smoking some shit if you think Yordan Alvarez is better hitter than Shohei!
eric!!!
Shohei strikes out a ton and doesn't walk. He's an absurd power hitter, but he's not Ted Williams. Yordan is a more complete hitter. Similar power but elite strikeout and walk rates.
Shohei's obviously a better player though. I just think Yordan is a better hitter.
stats say yordan is better lol
@@EldritchAugur shohei had better on base and slugging numbers through all of last year, than yordan has through this short stretch right now. Shohei i thought was pretty unanimously better. He had like twice as many walks as yordan last year.
@@PoopScoopCoop you are bringing up Shohei's MVP season lol. Now bring up numbers from any other of Shohei's season. It's not that elite
Just re-watched this video 7 months after its approximate release date and Quinn Jackus is the most accurate on this list. Bravo!
Aaron Judge has cut down on the strike outs considerably he is a much more complete player now then he was in 2017 and 2018 so the argument that is made for his strikeout problems shouldn’t be an argument anymore period because the last 2 years are evidence that when healthy judge is an unstoppable hitter
I agree with this 100%. Its almost a casual take at this point to just blow Judge off as a one dimensional player. Trout and Ohtani are great in their own right but I don't see either one of them putting up the same stats as judge this year. Judge also has plus defense in center and elite in right we wont even discuss that. Not too many guys who are true 5 tools and then some like the Judge.
@@matthewoneal7291 these dudes just Yankee haters , othani strikes out way way more than judge & trout is great but defensively I give judge the edge over him
In terms of Robo umps, my biggest issue isn’t the human element but the fact that framing will no longer be needed for a catcher. Framing is such an underrated skill that really separates MLB catchers to very good defensive MLB catchers
Cool collab! Always enjoy the buy or sell videos
Great meeting you at the Mets game earlier!
You guys should post videos like this together monthly, you have amazing videos but this is my favorite.
Ily Marc it was great to see u at the game great video
This is a W collab…. Good stuff man😤
16:15 That KBO rule is a great idea. Also Jomboy’s idea of having certain umpires only work the bases is a great idea too.
These react or yes no type videos are fire keep them up weekly , also did you play ball and what position
Less go, let’s get some more Wander Franco hype.
Hot hot take: the Rockies aren’t stupid and understand that most Rockies fans don’t care about us being good and only go to the games to drink and watch a high scoring slug fest. Sincerely, a Rockies fan.
Hot take: Ty France is in the top 3 of most underrated players in the MLB
Facts
Hot take: Mike Trout is a right handed Ken Griffey Jr.
Hot Take: Devers finishes top 3 in MVP voting
Hot take: Juan Yepez has a real shot at NL ROY. Bat to ball skill is unreal for a rookie
Hot Take: Rafael Devers is a major threat to win AL MVP if he can continue to hit at the level he is
Are u kidding me?? What an absolute fuckin BANGER!
Barry Bands shaking his head rn 2:30
Hot take: YANKEES (let’s go) will play the Mets In the World Series as a subway series.
If that happens make it more interesting then last time
I would love that so much, but I doubt the Mets will keep it up
The judge take better have been said before last nights game man went 4 for 5 with 2 homers he is trying to prove these men wrong and fuzzy puts a lot of respect on him and judge is so good
Even during this ridiculous hot stretch from Aaron Judge, Mike Trout's numbers are still better lol
I had this take and submitted this take about a week or two ago Judge is just insane this year
@@Shyny_Yordy not really trout only has judge beat in 2 categories
“Yankees are going to run away with the NL east”
1) Judge gets bad strike calls from the umps because of his height, still hits for average and walks
2) Judge plays a really good center and a gold glove right field
There’s no holes in judges game. Is he better than Trout, no. Is he a 5 tool player? Yes. Can he possibly have a better season than Trout and win mvp? Definitely a chance it happens
Only hole is his health, but in terms of on the field, no holes
It is happening.
Mad Max news while watching this video is funny lol
Thanks for using my take
Hot take: Jeremy Peña is a top 7 shortstop in all of baseball, And he will win AL ROY.
Statistically he’s the best in the league rn
I think he’ll definitely with rookie of the year, but top 7 SS is a bit of a stretch
LOVE THIS VIDEO Marc!!!! Keep up the work, now you need to make a video of you stepping in the cage agains Bauer!!!!!!
F*king FIRE 🔥 🔥 🔥
Best collab
Love this show!
14:43 You read the comment wrong, he said that robot umps are a no-go, meaning don't implement them, and I fully agree with him on that. Having the game in the hands of technology is pretty much a joke, Instead, just have designated home plate umpires instead of a rotation. And both things that were said by Eric about the KBO, and FivePointsvids about the analyzation, there are ways to figure it out before just getting rid of them, because I don't think that should even be a consideration.
Having the game in the hands of technology? Its not skynet. We have the technology to get accurate ball and strike calls. We should use it. Frankly I'm sick of bad umpires taking the at out of great hitters hands. Look at Judge. If the zone was called correctly, he would easily have 30+ fewer strikeouts a year. That's 30 at bats where he either gets walked, gets a hit or puts it in play for an out. Why hold on to the antiquated idea that human error needs to be a part of the game? Let the outcome be dictated by the players, not the home plate ump.
I don’t understand your point. We all see when a call is missed and nobody feels good about it when it seriously impacts the game. It’s not like the umps won’t be there at all they’ll just always be correct because they will have the correct answer fed into their ear. Baseball fans are so weird about change. Get with the times man change is a good thing, especially this. Ask Armando Gallaraga I’m sure he’d agree.
I think the ump should stay behind the catcher and call the game just like normal but if a catcher or batter wants to appeal the call they just point to the score board or wherever it would be displayed and there will be a call displayed up there based on how the robot saw it, or have someone up in the booth who essentially watches the game like everyone else does with the box on the screen and if someone makes that appeal, he'll be the one to display the ball/strike call on the score board. They essentially already do this anytime there is a check swing and the catcher can appeal down to the first or third base ump...same thing applies here essentially.
@@PreppinShootinLivin I thought this for awhile but I don’t think this is very fair to the hitters. You can’t have an umpire not calling the inside corner all game, and then have that suddenly be a strike for the most pivotal pitches of a game. Hitters and pitchers adjust to an umpire’s zone each game, those adjustments can’t just be erased when it really counts.
@@mattforbes221 This won't come out of the blue...if the pitch is close I imagine the catcher will appeal...he'll do this from inning 1 on....I imagine by inning 3 or 4 the actual ump will probably start calling them himself.
Hours before max news. HAHAHAHA
Goat collab
Eric hosmer begins to remember how to hit over the last few years of his contract (like what he’s doing right now), and although he will go down as an overpay, his contract won’t look nearly as horrible as it’s seemed at times from 2018 to 2021
That would make me very happy as a Royals lifetime fan. I’m glad we didn’t give him the money but I want him to do well I will always love Hosmer and the joy he brought me and my dad in that 2013-2016 era for the Royals
Quinn Jackus nailed that. Yanks won the East, Judge won MVP and signed a huge extension
Fuzzy could hit more home runs than marc

Hot take: The Astros make their 6th straight ALCS and Jeremy Peña wins AL ROTY alongside a top 20 finish in MVP voting
Not as awkward this time Marc woooo!
In pro tennis, every tournament has computers that record where the ball lands with incredibly high detail and accuracy, on 130mph serves and passing shots with crazy spin. They are used when players challenge a call made by the chair or line umpire. Knowing this, I think something could be fine tuned for reading pitches in MLB.
Hot Take: Mookie Betts has a comeback, bats .320, 30 HR, and 130 RBI through the end of the season. (WS MVP)
It would be quite impressive if the Yankees ran away with “the NL East”
I have a hot take: Zac Gallen and Merril Kelly will end up being the second best pitching duo(obviously behind DeGrom and Scherzer)
Hot take: Taylor Ward will end up top 5 in the MVP race
Lopez alcantara better
Gallen and Kelly are probably not top 5 duo. Even with both of the best duo out of commission they aren’t a top 2. If Taylor Ward can keep this up he will have the best offensive season of all time, so yeah I buy the second part.
@@snipergangdrob5940 But the chances of him keeping up his pace is next to none..
@@willyb9572 I said that a month ago and it's almost June and he's getting better. You never know with baseball that's why we play the games.
Wee need more of this to say the less, also gore for roty
Hot Take about AL Central: The Tigers will get back on track in June and finish 500. The Twins finish in first and White Sox 2nd
The Pirates have been rebuilding since 1970 just got me.
Love to see Marc repping PG, I used to work for them!
Hot Take: The Cardinals will win the NL central and Arenado will win NL MVP
Cardinals winning? Yes. Arenado MVP? Hell nah
Hot take: by the end of the season Marcus semien will no longer be a top 50 player. Btw you ranked him at 16
One season doesn't define a players worth. Nonetheless one quarter of a season.
Bartolo Colon will be a Hall of Famer (hot take)
your the best youtuber marc!
Hot Take: Juan Yepez wins NL Rookie of the Year
W take by a W youtuber

Hot take: Jeremy Pena wins AL rookie of the year, and Jazz Chisholm wins a silver slugger and is an all star
I 100 percent agree with the Jeremy Peña winning rookie of the year

Rare moment where sim is calm
Hot take: Mookie Betts catches fire and him and Freddie Freeman finish top five in the NL MVP voting. And this preformance leads the dodgers to winning the World Series in 2022.
Hot take: Jeremy Pena will win the AL Rookie if the year. And Astros will make another WS run
It's possible but there are a lot of great teams in the AL such as the Yankees
Hot Take: Alek Manoah and Kevin Gausman both finish top 3 in AL Cy Young voting.
Watching this in December. Them saying seiya will win rookie of the year and that the angels are doing really well is wild to hear
W collab
Sim looks like a giant next to Marc
3:54 that pitcher went to my school
Ooo this mean we are getting some Live ABs with Marc??
1:10 marks face😂😂😂
Hot Take: Cubs, Braves, and Giants make a three-team deal happen at the deadline sending Wilson Contreras to play for the Braves alongside his brother. Braves also get Doval from the Giants and send Ynoa along with a couple pitching prospects to the Cubs. The Giants also send a few prospects to the Cubs and walk away with D'Arnaud from the Braves, and Happ, Miley, and Robertson from the Cubs in return
Instead of robot umps give the umps AR glasses with the strike zone. It can be an aid for the home plate umps.
Donovan with St Louis should be in that conversation for rookie of the year.
I never watched Bonds live, but Trout being talked ab as GOAT makes me question how good he really was, Bonds has always been this mythical ungodly numbers, while I've watched Trout my whole life and he has never seemed of that same caliber.
Imagine Trout on steroids…
One thing Trout has going for him over Bonds is there wouldn't be as much controversy around labelling him as the goat. A lot of people (rightfully) think Bonds is the best ever and his numbers support that, but there are a handful of people who also think he's a disgrace. He didn't even get 75% votes to get in the hall of fame
@@Arden2000 66%, which is still a majority
@@somuchsalt2810 trout is on hgh
mlb covers it up
@@Arden2000 Bonds' non-steroid numbers don't support that, if he had never done steroids, then maybe, but he did and his top 4-5 seasons are steroid seasons.
Hot take: Logan Gilbert lowers his ERA back down to 2-2.5 and manages to sneak his way in top 3 of Cy Young voting and if not he will win it.
3:37 bro knew ball
Jeremy Peña finishes top 10 in al mvp voting
I think the strike zone hud isn't always accurate. sometimes balls will cross the plate and it won't register it accurately. the plate has depth to it and the hud doesn't register for that.
Hot take: Oakland A’s are not last place in the AL West at the end of the 2022 season
Thats an easy sell since Oakland isn't in the AL East
Sell
Hot Take: The Braves will get 1st in the NL East this year. They will go on a hot streak in the second half of the year and beat the Mets in the last series. But eventually will lose to the Mets in the playoffs. From a Braves fan.
Braves getting hot is not a hot take lol, it's a long season so if they end up overtaking the Mets at some point, it's not that shocking. They're one of the most talented teams in the NL and are the freaking defending champs so definitely not a hot take.
Nah keep dreaming. From a Mets fan.
@@franzreyes846 they're too talented on both ends and have good enough pitching to not be World Series contenders. I think a healthy Braves team has a better lineup than the Dodgers.
@@ryanguerin6556 I bet you said that last year too, right?
Hot Take: the Mets make a late season run, Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso both finish in the top 10 in NL MVP voting and they make it all the way to the NL Championship series only to lose to the Dodgers in six games.
I think the ump should stay behind the catcher and call the game just like normal but if a catcher or batter wants to appeal the call they just point to the score board or wherever it would be displayed and there will be a call displayed up there based on how the robot saw it, or have someone up in the booth who essentially watches the game like everyone else does with the box on the screen and if someone makes that appeal, he'll be the one to display the ball/strike call on the score board. banger
Gotta collab with Jabroni more often
I wonder if this was filmed before Rodon got shelled on sunday
Hot Take: No robo ump, part of the game is just yelling at umps and it’s the so awesome when they get ejected
Hot take: This is the first year in a long time that a freeway world series is possible.
Angles vs Dodgers or Yankees vs Mets
Marc, did you get the toenail clippings i sent you?
I like the collab
Hot take: the reds wont lose the NL central
Hell no
@@jamison9986 how abt the pirates if bryan Reynolds gets hurt?? Then the reds might pull ahead also rn theyre red hot so if they keep this up theyre good to go 💨
BRO SAID AARON JUDGE IS NOT A COMPLETE PLAYER LMAO WTF
Joe Ryan finishes top 3-5 in the AL Cy Young voting, and pushes the Twins to the ALCS
The St. Louis cardinals are so good I see them making them to the playoffs
god i love eric sim
It is going to be so satisfying when my predictions come true and Marc is sad about the Mets. When that happens I will expect an apology.
Edit: Also I like DeGrom but he will never pitch a full season again.
Based take, Eric.
Ump called ball a strike
How can I get involved in this I need to give my input on these takes
Congrats Quinn jackus
