    Slipknot isn't my favorite band but Jim Root definitely has my favorite guitar. Love the feel of the Stratocaster and it sets up for metal really well. 10/10

    I'm so happy I found this video, because there are not many demos of the strat! I have been waiting for mine for one and a half months because there is a shortage in Europe but I'm due to receive it in a week or so and I can't wait

    Hi SMR, may I ask if you've had tuning issues with this strat? I'm planning to get it and play in standard or Eflat. Can I expect tune drops with large bends?

    Great review of a great guitar.
    I have both black & white versions, they sound, play & stay in tune great.
    I’m sure there are dot markers on the side of the fretboard for both Tele, Strat and Jazz versions?
    Check out the Fender Jim Adkins Telecaster - a Fender guitar with a set neck.

    Do you see a real difference between the Tele (mexican Fenfer) and the strat (US Fender) ? I had the first one, it was great, and i'm expecting to buy the start and hoping to have a best feeling and finiton (the price is higher so... I am expecting to have something better).

    Oh, just saw this on your pedal demo. It's well mean looking. Reminds me of some of the satin Jericho guitars. I can't help but wonder if it could have done with a matching black headstock.

    • @xanderraymondcharles
      @xanderraymondcharles  Před 6 lety

      Hey Chris whats up man. Actually I've seen Jim Root's Red Jazzmaster has a black headstock. So they do do it, I think it's only a custom order. You could always just use a sharpie haha

  • @davidsollenberger2998
    @davidsollenberger2998 Před 6 lety +1

    Fender does make neck throughs. There have been some Tele’s for years. Also the locking tuners are used on the Elite models as well. Nice demo though.

    Fender has quite a few models that have a set neck or are neck through. The Showmaster series has a large following. I like bolt on necks myself. Easier to replace/upgrade. It's all personal preference tho. I also don't like fret markets on the face of the finger board. To each his own.

    • @xanderraymondcharles
      @xanderraymondcharles  Před 6 lety +1

      hey buddy I'd say throw some fishmans in there! Fishman moderns are soooo awesome

    • @tylernoice8770
      @tylernoice8770 Před 6 lety +1

      Neil Y.Maggot If it's not too late to respond, I would HIGHLY recommend the Fishman Fluence Stephen Carpenter set. The low end is so beefy but yet all the notes resonate so well. They are very well balanced. Also the set has a glow in the dark strip that goes across the pickup and when it's not lit, it's white and complements the white border on the pickguard.

    • @xanderraymondcharles
      @xanderraymondcharles  Před 6 lety

      HEY MAN IT'S NOT OO LATE I'VE STILL GOT THIS BAD BOY. DO THEY MAKE THE STEPHEN CARPENTER SET IN A SIX STRING VERSION? THANKS

    • @shadowalk
      @shadowalk Před 5 lety +3

      Not to be a prick but do you REALLY need to change the EMGs? I see too many metal guitarists nowadays always jumping on the fishman fluence bandwagon without really hearing them firsthand and just because they’re the ‘hot new’ metal pickups today.

    • @jacoobyslaps
      @jacoobyslaps Před 4 lety

      RAZOR RAMOAN The guitar overall is flat. So it has much less of a contour than a traditional Strat.

    fender's american elite series standard strats come with locking tuners. Same with tele's, same with all fender american elite range guitars. The no SS frets on a sig model does stink. I'd gladly pay extra for SS frets

    My biggest issue with this guitar is the lack of a tone control. Guitar would be ideal for me if it had a master tone control. I also agree that the SS frets would be a nice upgrade.
