- in this video i demonstrated How to bypass Over Voltage Protection in ATX power supply using SDC291 Voltage mode PWM SMPS controller Power Supply For Higher Output Voltage
i explained practical How to repair computer ATX switch mode power supply SMPS very easy. this PSU is using SDC2921 IC which is PWM and intelligent power supply monitor. i simulated the outputs of the power supply using a voltage divider network supplied with +5V SB local power supply. after watching this video you can capable to:-

Thank you for good tip video, i has an ATX psu (named andyson e5 400W) with LA8100PN same as SDC2921, when i PS-ON the fan only spin 2, 3 round and off, i check every thing and can't find problem, so i use your trick at this video, so fk good, the PSU work fine 12V, 5V, and 3V3 is okay. So i think problem is three feedback, i check the resistor fb and that true value, no problem on three line feedback. i check -12V and it has -10,9V, the -12volt line doesn't have line to IC, so i think it not care with IC, so what can i do with this problem, can i use my computer with voltage fb made by resistor on your trick?

I like the process and the idea behind it. but I still don't get it: why do you need to bypass the sens circuitry? isn't it better to leave it with short-circuit protection on? what's your objective?
Can’t start motors because it trips the overcurrent on startup

I have 2 doubts: at min 12:10 you said that must cut the line to disconnect some part of the circuit. Same at and min 12:34 also said to disconnect other section.
As my board is completely different than yours, I am stacked and I don't know what must cut. I am afraid to make a mistake and I ask you to explain me where to do that.

Hello, how did youdo to find the resistors values for the divider ? i am struggling and i cannot find values to go from 5 to 3.775 to 3.375.

Thanks, indeed I tried 3.3k + 580 + 1K and it falls within range without connecting the IC pins, the 12v sensing pin is connected directly to 5vsb as per its original value, but when i connect the ic pins (DWA103N, pins 10/11/12), the voltage at pins 5v and 3.3v falls below 1v , and i have no more output... any idea ?
@@HaseebElectronics I did unsolder them from the PCB without cutting any trace because the traces are very thin. It was easier for me this way. Voltages are good but when i connect the PINS, it goes fault.
@@HaseebElectronics the 12v is at the far end of the divider because its original value was 5.1v, which is very close to 5vsb. How can i send you a picture ?
