A lady at my old job used to make this every year for my birthday ! I love pancit
Same here
Me too it's easy to make.
It means she prays for a long, abundant life for you.
It's suppose to give you good luck for the year. I make it for my son and husband as my mom did for me growing up.
@conrad @lumynn y’all are going to make me cry!! I didn’t know! Thank you for sharing! She will always have a special place in my heart! Thanks yall
My mother used to work at Dallah Hospital back in Saudi Arabia. She has so many Filipino friends....
They used to make her pancit mostly. She doesn't eat it instead She brings it home for me and my brother.....
Pancit is a nostalgic feeling for me.
❤️ My Mom ❤️
My mother's name is Sulekha Beevi Abdul Salam..... My name is Amal... We are from Kerala, India.
Hope anybody related to me sees this comment.
After looking at dozens of these videos to make this dish to go along with my adobo, this one is by far the best. The search is over, lol. Thx for the great detailed video.
I agree. This video is to the point and makes it easy to watch and make you hungry. Others (videos) tend to talk too much. I have confidence in making Pancit now because of this video.
Agreed. Great recipe video. Very clear instructions. I love it.
@@handsinknead77 exactly 💯 👌 same happened to me.
Best Filipino Pancit version on video, just how it's done in Manila!
The way you make Pancit is so inspiring. I've made and eaten a lot of it. What I really like about this one is the way you cook the noodles in the broth. And I like the way you prepare this dish in parts, each part separate and retaining it it s own favor. Not over cooked, not undercooked. Not all recipe for Pancit call for fish sauce or calamansi, but it makes all the difference. Pancit, done well like this is an experience to eat, oh that pillowy texture. Heavenly !
So beautiful to look at and know it's an awesome dish. thanks for the great instructions and ease to understand. Cant wait to try it.
I’ve been watching this video for about 2 weeks now. Finalllly made it and I’m so satisfied. Thank you thank you thank you!!
This guy makes the dish look so easy to make.Thank You.
One of mans greatest creations. I was introduced to this along with Lumpia by two of my Filipino coworkers.
I cooked this recently.....and it came out amazing!!!! My family enjoyed it and now, I'll be cooking it for Thanksgiving feast for others to enjoy.
I work with a number of Filipino ladies and gentlemen, and I am absolutely in love with the food they bring in, especially pancit. It's so delicious!!
I am italian. Though you asians only know spaghetti, I am amazed at all the different ways the different cultures make it. My girlfriend is Pinay/Viet and makes really delicious Pancit and Pho for me. I want to surprise her and make her Pancit, like her Lola makes, as an aniversary gift.
thats racist
Racist as FxxK smh...
so far so good..this guy is really easy to follow...he's my 3rd video and the one I can really follow...authentic recipe...like it!
I made this tonight for my family!! Followed your instructions exactly! It came out perfect!!! So much flavor!!! Thank you for creating this video and sharing! Didn't have shrimp, but definitely had chicken to use! :-)
My Filipino grandma would always make this when I was little!❤🥢
Man, this is a great video throughout. I like everything about it
Lovely demonstration. I am starving for this right now. I've had this a few times, but never made it. Looked so complicated, but you made it look like I can prepare it. Thanks for the great instructions.
I watch this video every time I make Pancit - my Filipino friends tell me I make it better than they do. Its incredible and I have to thank my friend Jenny & this U-Tube Video!
We Filipinos love using Calamansi for many remedies such as caught, sore through, and stress. It also powerful to cure acne and to whitens pimple marks and it have anti aging properties
How do you use it for anti aging? I would love to use it 🙂
Your pancit truly looks the best out of all the videos I've watched thank you will try
Thank you for showing how to cook pancit. I can’t wait to prepare this dish to my family. 😊
Awesome recipe! I usually bought a pan of pancit for special occasions, but now I know how easy it is to make it...we're going to have this more often. Thank you for the great tutorial. We appreciate it!
BEST video on Pancit Bihon.....one of my favorite Filipino dish. Aloha 6/27/2019.
Moved away from Hawaii a few months ago and have been really craving pancit- so happy I found this video! Can always count on foodland lol. Never knew the name of the sour fruit either so thanks for including that! Kalamansi! Hope they have it at the store, I love extra in my pancit 😄😄 so ono!!
The 1st time I ever cooked pancit I used this recipe. My search is over. Thank you!
Awesome. My Filipino friends at my old job use to make this all the time for me. Oh my God . I miss them and the food. It was so much fun because everyone brought food from their culture! Thanks for sharing. I'm low carb so I would make with spaghetti squash
Spaghetti squash is great, I put my puttanesca sauce on it, better than on pasta and healthier!
I am in love with pancit and have been craving it. I just ordered the right noodles from amazon and I’m so excited to make the dish. After watching some videos for pancit recipes yours sounds and looks the best. Thanks so much for sharing!
This recipe comes out PERFECT, we were finally able to make authentic pancit at home. Thank you so much .
Love it! Never made pancit but now that I saw how easy that was, I'm making that a staple at home gatherings!
Thanks Sue! I was looking for a pancit recipe. I've tried package mixes but this one looks more legit.
I worked at an elementary school. We always had our Christmas and End of Year parties at her beautiful home. There was always a platter of Lumpia. There was always a huge platter of Pancit and many other wonderful foods. ❤
Made this today. Wish I had your mad cutting skills but I don’t so I prepped all my veggies first. Thank you! Great recipe!
Another recipe I’m going to try! Looks so delicious!
I enjoy watching you cook.
Chef - this is one of the best video cooking I've seen on your show - not that I'm a Filipino - but you got the better technique on cooking our pancit bihon better than most Filipinos. thanks for that!!
great cooking skills! so clean, and he has this dish mastered! simple and comforting. right on!
Only my mom would make pancit with patis and that particular brand as well, it's good to see it!!
It brings back good memories and good food!!
Thank you!
Amost like the way my mom used to make it except for she would soak the noodles but that's probably because that what we did at that time.
Everything else even the way you would separate the cooking, was right on!
Been doing this method of cooking pancit for years. Never dissapoints. Crunchy veggies and tasty noodles.
Looks Good! I made this tonight. Different versions, Singapore noodles, Mei Fun, etc. I use a different method like others, doing all the prep work, chopping and soaking noodles before then frying in steps, finally adding noodles.
This is how our grandparents cook it You nailed it..For you its easy to cook because you're a chef but for me I'll sweat a lot before I finish cooking this.
Delicious! made it with shrimp today following your video. Even my neighbor said it was good and she is Filipino! thank you very much. x
Just now finished cooking it ur way, omg it’s best I’ve ever tried! And I got exactly same noodles from store, how lucky am I?))) Thank u for amazing and easy recipe! 🤩
Love these recipe demos. Thanks!
Been checking a lot of Pancit recipes and this one was my favorite. Saved in my cookbook. Thank you Mr. Chang!
Excellent video and all the steps and details clearly explained. You’ve inspired me to cook this dish. Thank you for sharing your cuisine & culture.
My ex's mother made pancit and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Now im trying my best to figure it out!
my coworker used to make pancit and I am also trying to figure it out love from Canada
Filipinos use dark soy sauce which is saltier. Get Datu Puti or SilverSwan. Kikkoman is not going to cut it. Too light.
someone made this for a potluck and I've been craving it. Glad I found the recipe
Perfect...we serve it here in Virginia Beach at almost every party! Thank you for the recipe...I like your version! :-)
correct way of cooking , perfect texture
I made this noodles today and it was amazing!!! I love it, thank you for you recipe and thank you for sharing with us!!
Thank you so much for taking your time doing this videos ., I made the recipe my family love it gracias
I love Pancit. Thanks for sharing. Will try to make it.
THANK YOU!!!! Everyone makes it look so hard to make but you just inspired me, I’m making this, we only eat it when my Filipino aunt comes to visit now I get to make it for my family we absolutely love it so much and maybe I’ll make it for her now I pray I get a good review 😊
Wow perfect Cook chief thanks for nice recipe I'm ganno do this, pancit bihon is my favorite, thanks again chief,,
I always come back to this video every year when I make this.
I love all your dishes....😋 simple but ONO (delish 😋).
Love this video. Thank you for sharing.
You cook your pancit exactly the way our family does. Thanks. I'm sure it is delicious. I should know.
Great cooking. I like the idea of soaking the bijon to the boiling broth. Flavors get absorbed. That makes a lot of sense.
Yes! My Lola would poach her chicken and then shred it for the pancit. She would soak or cook her noodles in that water. I go further and season that water like I'm making broth. It's not my Lola's...but it will do!
my filipino grandmother always made pancit and lumpia, best food ever ❤
You mean your Chinese mestiza grandmother....lol
Thank You I LOVE Pancit LOVE Your recipe Ono luscious 💙⚘🤗
Best Pancit Bijon recipe/method I've seen on CZcams. Great job Chef Chang!
YUM! Definitely want to try this!
Excellent presentation! Would try this recipe this week. Hope this would be the best pancit recipe and go to recipe from now on. Thanks and God bless!
best recipe and procedure i've seen so far in cooking pancit bihon
I agree! He didnt over cook the shrimp Lol! I saw some videos and they started cooking the shrimp first then added veggies and never took them out. YIKES! I also liked that he added black pepper because that does give it a certain taste that blends all he used together very well.
Plus he used fish sauce ...very important.
Thankyou sir... very easy to follow your instructions.. I love these noodles :)
I followed the directions, and this dish was quite tasty! My family liked it as well! : )
Great video. Just straight to the point cooking 👍

Looks delicious. I've only made pancit canton. I was looking for a recipe to make bihon for a party this weekend. I noticed the only difference between the two dishes are the noodles. Thank you for sharing your recipe, I can't wait to make it. 😊

I lived on Guam for a couple years, I never went to a cookout that didnt have pancit as a dish. Delicious!
I like ur style of cooking pancit bihon yummy!!!!
I am so happy I found this channel!! I Love Chef Keoni! He looks just like my cousin, which makes me believe that my grandma was right when she said we have Polynesian blood. lol Anyway, I have made this Pancit recipe several times and it is always a big hit!! Thank you for sharing and making it so simple to follow along! Mahalo
Filipino isn’t Polynesian… they are Asian 😊
I recently have been cooking this recipe
for quick summer lunch or dinner.
I turned it up a notch by grilling my
chicken breast and making sure
the vegetables are slightly crunch
before I turn off the heat.
This is how I cooked my pancit behon.... like it!
Excellent presentation👌Also love the process and the result looks really good.👍
Excellent video! Thank you very much.
Great tutorial, wonderful dish.
Thanks for the recipe! The dish looks great!
Sounds Great and yummy your cook guy ..Thanks ..share it to my daughter birthday today in France...

Now I'm starving!!!
Yummy going to try it thank you for sharing
I love it i just want to eat it right now!
Very helpful video. THANK YOU !
I've scoured the Internet for just the right version of Pancit and this is it! Loved the demonstration and will be on my way to the Asian market this morning for this afternoon's Sunday dinner! Can't wait! thanks!
No such thing as the "right version"...if you want the proper version, see Southern Chinese noodles, which is the ancestor of this bastard child. 90% of all ethnic Chinese in the Philippines are from the Fujian province, which has heavily influenced Filipino cuisine....authentic Filipino food does not include lumpia, pancit, syopao, etc...this man is mostly ethnic Chinese.
Christian the Urban Nomad
FFS, calm the fuck down. McDonald’s May have been the originator of crappy burgers, but doesn’t mean other joints like The Counter, Umami, Shake Shack and Burger King can’t do their own versions. What a triggered incel you are
Christian the Urban Nomad wtf u just invalidated every cuisine out there from every country that technically has come from china and is now a unique version 😂 #triggeredmuch
@@mirageangelica5495 "unique version"???....have you been to the Philippines in order to see who actually cooks pancit properly???....besides, Chinese curry isn't from China at all....guess where it's from....no matter how Americanized Taco Bell is anyone from Mexico will consider it an invalid expression of Mexican cuisine. Ultimately, authentic cuisine is validated by acknowledging the inauthentic versions.
@@brootal4234 You're a fool...your reasoning skills are flawed. A "hamburger" is from Hamburg, Germany. However, that just describes the meat, which is ground steak. A sandwich is English from the Earl of Sandwich who invented the sandwich while playing cards. A hamburger sandwich was a synthesis of both created in the United States....so, all American fast food restaurants make authentic versions of an American synthesis. Pancit is really from China. Noodles aren't even a staple in Filipino cuisine....you knew that, right??? I doubt it. Also, you're either very young or halted your education after high school; McDonalds was one of many hamburger restaurants on the landscape in 40's through the 1950's before Ray Kroc discovered it then pioneered the concept of franchising---see the film The Founder for an entertaining account of this....
I made this for the first time today! I loved it! I was lazy and used a package of coleslaw, and used bacon rather than the meats you used, but amazing!
This recipe is the best one for me to cook Pancit !
Wow i loved it thank you chef
That looks so good!!
I am definitely making this dish!
Yum 😋
