I made this Mario Odyssey miniature out of Garbage

- It's always a good crafting day when there's new empty garbage to enjoy. Today, I'm turning a bunch of trash, garbage, and junk plastic into the Odyssey ship from Super Mario Odyssey, my favorite hat-based vehicle. Mario and Cappy are here, too.
P.S. Don't emulate my cavalier power drill techniques around 5:55. While the video may look like I could have had a close call with the drill bit, tis just a trick of the camera making my finger look closer than it actually was.

Weirdly I'm legitimately a little bummed that we've gone through the last of the horseshoes. It's amazing how surprisingly versatile they were for craft builds though!
I, as well, am a little sad about it :( Perhaps life has some crafting surprises in store for the future
This just leaves more room to have to buy more
I will hold a funeral for them

@@StudsonStudio It looks Awesome, but why not use cos clay or air dry clay to sculpt the tiny hat that goes at the bottom of ship 5:44, that way you can save the horse shoe and get some more including the light's. See you next time. :D

@@illinoisgirldreaming9085 My advice would be to start with BillMakingStuff and his beadbots. Super easy to make, can make a bunch of them with very little, and then build them a setting using Studson's building techniques.

Yes omg im not deaf myself but struggle with auditory processing and it usually takes me an extra five minutes to watch something bc i have to keep going back to replay parts and the subtitles help me so much

@@feritye767 they have to be manually enabled by the poster and most of them don't. Besides they're absolutely horrible with accents, censorship, and basically any variation in speech patterns. They can be alright sometimes but will never compare to manual subs

Sir Studson, you’ve inspired me and I have started my own collection of assorted cardboard cylinders in various sizes (to make a giant paint brush). As well as a random assortment of plastic and small boxes. Thinking about making one of the ice caves from Arceus Legends.

Without fail, each build, my imagination fills in a background story of the goings-on in your home. They usually involve your significant other rolling their eyes over your claiming good garbage from the bin or you explaining in the grocery store why it needs to be the condiment brand with the most textured packaging. I absolutely picture them deciding takeout locations based on your favourite container elements as a love language. This time my brain immediately created a posh luncheon discussion around... politics probably, or something serious... with you singing your heart out somewhere in the house in the background.

For your foam cutter table trick I have one addition: use a thumbtack as a center peg / EZ Lazy-susan; then you can use your thumb over the thumbtack location to hold it and spin with your fingers
I just found out about your channel and as someone who makes art with trash I immediately fell in love with this video when you mentioned the different types of plastic and how they are less likely to glue altogether. wow
