I'm convinced that this is the method they use for the models on mascara commercials... And when you think about it, it's almost like doing the "individual" lashes. Not the lash extensions, but the clusters. This just looks so much More BOMB tho 💣✨

Yowzaa! I have such thin lashes I can put them overlashes and it's seemless. All you see are the false. I dont blend or use mascara.

I do this all the time because when I do it the other way the lash never sits near the inner part and it’s annoying. Need to be patient for the glue to dry and get tacky and there’s no issue putting them onto the lash line and I find that it last longer too even on windy days (that is not too severe of course)

Shu Uemura sells a similar style of eyelash curler but it's about ten dollars more

I have been doing this trick for about 8 yrs... It makes your lashes look natural.. I can do it with out cutting them in half but that is a good idea though.... 😊🙂

I've been doin it for awhile as well. Don't cut them in 2. It seems easier to leave it whole
+jann jann I've done it for years also. Once applied it's quite comfortable! You just really need to be sure the lash band fits your eye shape as it has more access to inner eye.

Yes it is comfortable to me.. if you ever try it just play around with the cheap .99 cents ones with the thin band because they are easy to bend. I have tight eyes so I have to cut mines a couple off of the outer side of the lash band. I just take them off ever night and peel the clue off and reuse them. Mines start to stick good after maybe the 2nd or 3rd day. they sometime last me for almost 2 wks. I like them when they are a few days old, they really look natural. Numbers 213 and 747S are the ones I use a lot for a natural look.

when you wear contacts your are eyes are more sensitive than usual so I don't really want to try it out..😕

The only way this becomes unsafe is if you are not using the proper glue, are using materials that are not sanitized i.e. your fingers, tweezers etc, and if you clog your lacrimal puncta.
SAFETY TIP: that isn't mentioned in this video is to make sure the lash glue is very very tacky before applying it.
Informative: This method is extremely old and it was practiced in Hollywood makeup artistry for a very long time. Makeup artists that worked in photography and cinematography would apply the lashes beneath the natural lashes to give a seamless appearance on camera.
Experience: I've used this method for many many years and avoid the standard method that many do because it does not feel as comfortable on the eyes. Just make sure to use a waterproof and latex free lash adhesive, make sure your hands, face, and tools are clean, remember to let the glue get extremely tacky and take your time.

😣 eyelash glue is not supposed to go that close to the water line, especially if it has latex.... i would never do that to a client, i can irritate their eye.

House of lashes glue has no latex i know I had to switch from duo glue because it made me kind of blind so house of lashes glue works amazing I'm just wondering if it'll work on this??

This is JustQuila speaking via Tasha Bell and I love this method. I tried it for the first time and it was so much easier for me than the traditional method. My lashes looked awesome and I had no problem.
This is the only way I apply my lashes and I love it!! Once you get the hang of it, you'll love it too. When you apply the lash glue, apply a THIN layer on TOP of the lash band. It needs to adhere to the root of your lashes not your eyelid itself. Also, never blow on the lash glue to make it tacky. You dont want any germs near your eyes.

I almost went blind doing this.. 😭 but I love the effect !! It's easier to just do the outer corner and coat your lashes with mascara it looks just as great 💖

My natural lashes are short and super curly, which makes applying lashes to the top of my lash line a major chore. It never occurred to me to apply the false lash underneath my own, until I saw your video! Yes, it took some time to figure out the technique and get the watering under control, but it is totally worth it! I have been transformed. Thank YOU!!
I have always worn my lashes this way for about 7 years.. Ppl used to think those were my real lashes only difference is that I don't cut mine in half and I wait until the glue is completely tacky .. Good job looks great on you!!

I tried this method today. I freaking love it!!! I have the lashes on now as I type this.They feel so nice and natural and look the same as well...I find it easier to wear them this way as opposed to putting them on top of my eye lashes.

I'm remember being in school and using the hair glue. it didn't last and I ended up with an eye infection. one of my instructors was also a MUA and when she did mines she used the black eye lash glue. didn't end up with an eye infection and it lasted 2 weeks before the fake lashes started to fall out on they're own.
I'm amazed at how better the lashes look under ur own instead of on top and how natural it looks but isn't it dangerous to put lash glue that close to ur eyes?

Yes, you can make yourself blind. This is dangerous having the glue so close to your eye ball or someone stabbing themselves in the pupil.
+Irishcel507 u did a good job but am surprised this is now a thing when this is how I grew up putting on lashes for Jamaicans this is nothing new I can do this with ma eyes closed but yet it's a struggle to get them on on top lol. This technique has been around forever and am 30 and I grew up knowing this technique so it's been around for ages.

I've been doing this this for years with individual eyelashes and I only put them on towards my outer eye for a more dramatic effect. Applying them under my eyelashes makes them look awesome and natural, people think they're mine.
