Namely, the beautiful windows, the colorful and whimsy and theming Disney is known for, plenty of electrical sockets, beautiful kitchen AND I, too, love the Mason Jar drink mugs. Not only a WV thing, it’s also done in NC. ❤

The design is reminiscent of Reflections. Cabins were included in the plans we saw for that resort.
I didn't know how to use my dvc account efficiently until I started watching you guys lol.
I'd just call and book my week without comparing point costs between seasons and resorts.
It's nice that you guys let more of your personalities through now too, seem more comfortable in front of the camera

Am I the only one not one bit interested in the cabins as a DVC product? It would have made much more sense to me to begin converting Gran Distino.

Camping is an umbrella term for all forms of lodging out in nature. Primitive camping IS camping in tents that you pitch yourself. Then there’s glamping, as we all know, where it’s a tent that is already set up and stays up permanently. (Teepees, yurts, etc.) Then there’s cabin camping and RV/camper camping. So “primitive” is what everyone thinks of when thinking of camping… putting up a tent and tearing it down…fire pit… no electrical hook up… maybe a water pump… maybe not 🤷🏻♀️. No kitchen or grill. Roughing it!

I REALLY think that overall, DVC needs to put two bathrooms in the 1 bedroom villas. The concept of fitting up to 4-5 people in a villa with 1 toilet is wild and I just want some updates there.
This resort looks fun to visit once and maybe I’ll love it but no washer/dryer and the lack of amenities for a DVC resort is just is underwhelming.
No washer dryer is a deal breaker for me ... Seems like a huge miss
Agreed. Especially since there is space between the Murphy bed and kitchen. They could have added the combination type and extended the counter.
Personally I like staying in a "nice hotel" when' staying DVC so I'm not a camping type person, but no bathtub would be a big issue for my young family

Primitive camping is for groups like scouts but I believe it’s closed now
Using my VGF direct points for this resort does not feel like a good use of my points. If however, i owned SSR direct, maybe. The lack of washer/dryer, tub, pool towels is a deal breaker for me. Also can't watch TV and have a movie night comfortably b/c the layout is terrible and no arm swivel. Top this off with high dues is a dagger in the heart. The only benefit right now is parking and charging my EV, but this convenience does not balance out all the inconveniences.

Are they keeping some of the cabins dog free? I’ve just bought into the cabins, and from uk, not bringing the dog. So for allergy issues are they keeping some completely dog free?
Primitive tent camping is no longer allowed because that area floods. Hopefully they are going to do something with that area and add something, otherwise it’s another wasted opportunity that isn’t new for Disney.
Sorry I missed it live but would love your thoughts on the pools. Do they compare with other DVC pools? Were you happy with them? Do you think at some point the quiet pool by the cabins might be updated and become a DVC only pool (with towels!!)? Thanks!
Only reason they don’t have towels is because this is a campground for rvers and they bring their own supplies. As far as the pool, it’s recently refurbished and has a slide with a kids water area, nothing too fancy.
There are approved fire pits you can use to have a fire. They have a flyer you can use to see which ones will work. And there are no prohibited breeds. They have a right to ask you to board your dogs if they become a nuisance.

Hey there! We didn’t have access to the inside of the ADA cabins since they were being used by guest. I do have a photo of the exterior ramp on one. Sadly, CZcams doesn’t let me upload a photo here. If you’re in the Facebook group and can tag me in a posts, I can share it with you.

It’s just as cramped as the older ones. Just modern with better amenities. This is just another option, you can get this cabin or get a studio at wilderness lodge for about the same price. I guess it depends what you want.

You are small. The majority of people will be playing bumper cars off the walls.
You love them because it would be a CZcams cataclysm if you didn’t.
