really needed this review, thanks
This one I will buy. Thanks for the great review.
The controllers are different on the back..one has a label and the other is blank..thus standing at the end of the bed the labelled controller goes on the right side of the bed and the unlabeled controller goes on the left..this is my second mattress warmer..my first last at least 8-10 years.,best thing since chocolate milk..so nice having in the states that got lots of snow.
Thank you for your informative review.
Clarence Newby . Thx for watching.

Good job reviewing - video editing- I came across someone selling this so I am trying to negotiate a price of less than $70. Trying to see how much seller will be willing to give it to me for a discount. Was thinking of giving it as gift.
I love it, keep it on low for me.
What's the use of a really cool heated mattress?
Only issue I have found is the electric connector at the base is uncomfortable. I tend to roll my feet over it and now have to think of avoiding it. I am reversing the pad and moving it up to the top of the bed.
I'm 6'-3" tall and had the very same uncomfortable problem. Further, the constant rubbing of ankles on the lumpy connection wore a hole in the sheet. I used the same fix that you described and have had no problem since. The lump is still present at top of the bed but is covered by the pillows and never noticed. However, the lengthy electric cord (to reach the foot of the bed) needs to be coiled and secured with a tie at the head of bed.
My pad started blinking and not heating, what can I do
So I am thinking about buying this product. But I like cold beds like you do you still think it is worth 40 ( for twin size) also great vid
Why do you want a heated pad if you like a cold bed?
Question: how do you tuck your sheets if you can't run the wires between the mattress & box springs?
NO problem - you can still run the cord 'tween mattress and box springs. Better yet, put the connection at top of mattress where the cords are no problem IF they are gathered in a bundle/coil and secured with a tie or two.
I did nothing to my heated blanket but the control keeps flashing and wont turn on I tried to unplung and replug it any suggestions?
are you using an extension cord or power strip? try plugging it directly into the wall, maybe?
Thanks for the video! How do you wash this mattress pad?
For 15+yrs., I've had this pad laid directly on the mattress and covered with a standard mattress pad, then the bottom sheet. While the sheets are changed and washed every week, there is no need or reason to ever wash the mattress pad, unless coffee, drink, or other liquid is spilled thereon and soaks thru to the mattress pad.
The polyester "felt" like material on the underside of the cover, fabric that touches the matress" is shedding allowing the electric heated wires to pop through, bunch up in places. You MOST definitely will feel the wires through your bedsheet and this gets uncomfortable after awhile. How to repair the felt like material??
I've had this very same product on my bed for 15+ yrs. It's covered with a light-weight mattress pad (under the sheet) and I've never felt the wires.
Why did she leave it on high and then sweat the whole night? Confused.
To be honest, she takes medicine to help her through a chronic illness....once she falls asleep, she's asleep for 6 or 7 hours. Mea culpa. Thanks for watching!
How do I order it

My own off button is blinking. Why is that?
me too??
Me too
Unplug and replug it back. I too noted it many times and figured out that it happens after an electrical outage.
No, sorry, unplugged at the wall and pad, no dice. I'd bought a few different ones, various manufacthrers, over the last seven or eight years. They all crap out after two or three years
@@hogroamer260 I have to disagree! I've used just 1 (Sunbeam) mattress pad for 15+ yrs. and it just recently started blinking for the first time. I turned the unit off, unplugged it, then reset it for the next night. Following morning it had jumped to max heat setting and was blinking again. The mfr. says " . . . that indicates an electrical problem and potential fire hazard, so the unit should be discarded." After 15+ yrs of enjoyable and uneventful yrs. of use, I'm totally satisfied and will purchase another unit.
40 dollars
Don't waste your money on a heated mattress pad, I'm speaking from 50+ years of experience! The pads are much nicer, initially, because they heat under you and the heat rises to warm the blankets above (before you get in). A heated blanket will heat the covers above but, the mattress will still feel like the cold is embedded in it, unless you turn it on hours before you go to bed. Sounds like the pad is the better solution but it is not. After two or three years of a couple hundred pounds laying on the wires, rolling around, tossing and turning, the wires break. The blankets last year's longer because they are not subject to the same abuse. If you don't mind spending a hundred bucks every couple years and tearing the blankets off, the pad is for you. If you get irritated it quits working, you have to get in a cold bed for a couple nights and you have to spend another hundred bucks, get the heated blanket.
Hog roamer if you’re around 150 pounds and a normal sleeper, it’ll work.
Again I must disagree, but fortunately we have the right to free speech and differing opinions. I bought the mattress pad instead of the blanket because, as some aged Greek philosopher once opined, "heat rises". A heated blanket makes no sense to me because, as you said, the heat is already above your body and rises further away from you. The mattress pad does the same but it's under your body so you absorb the heat and a blanket or quilt on top serves to keep the heat around your body a bit longer. It's just different strokes for different folks.
@@mvzv3913 My wife says I never move at night. But I'm a fat a$$ @ 6'-2, 175#.
@calwagner1238 It's not about free speech and I've even explained the benefits of the pad over the blanket. You can say it's an opinion, but I'm telling you factual experiences, many times, not just once. You had ONE good experience. As I said, I hope that continues. Buyer beware, you have been warned.
This is not a "Review," It's a sales pitch....
