Before embarking on our camping trip to Lake Tahoe, we went on a 'practice camping' trip to Live Oak Campground, which is close to home.
The visit was in the spring, but editing took longer than expected, so we're only posting it now. 😱🤧😭
It’s a great spot for camping, especially if you have kids, as there are many activities and ways to experience nature up close. Hearing the frogs croaking reminded me of the sounds from my grandmother’s house in the Korean countryside, which was a bit surreal to experience in California.
However, there was only one flushing toilet, and the showers were not available during our visit in April, which was a bit disappointing.
