fire force is a straight up prequel to soul eater. shinrabanshoman after defeating his enemies using his god like powers created an entity even stronger than himself before recreating the world into the world of soul eater. Death then became the god of the new world as shinra lsot his powers. Eventually over time the new world that was created would become the world of soul eater.
