How to Reset M-Tronics on MS362C

  • The MS362C comes with M-Tronics version 3.0. Other saws that have version 2.0 and 1.0 reset differently and it's confusing. I bought this saw off of Ebay, once used, with no user manual so I took to the internet to try and figure out how to reset this saw. I couldn't find a single video that explained this properly, and the user manual I found for my saw online was extremely confusing. Since there's no video on the internet explaining how to properly reset an MS362C I figured I would make a video to help you out!

    One thing I forgot to mention... DO NOT LET GO OF THE THROTTLE during the second > 30 time-frame until the engine RPM has dropped considerably and flattened out.

    • @Conquer2Reign
      @Conquer2Reign Před 3 lety

      Question. It’s not in the manual of what to listen for when stopping the full throttle. How did you decide to stop it when the throttle levels out rather then when the engine rpms skyrocket to max power?

    Yes that is the correct procedure for a re set on that model of the m tronic, I believe you only have to do the re set is when you clean the air filter or replace it or clean spark plug. The manual does dot indicate why or when this re set needs to be done.

    Thank you. I could not understand the Owner's Manual. You clarified it nicely. One thing you did not mention is the decompression valve. In one spot in the Owner's Manual it says "you must press the (decompression valve) before every starting attempt." However, the Manual never again mentions the decompression valve in all its starting instructions. When should I use the decompression valve?

      Never use that thing. Take it out and plug the hole off, you buy the pluk from a saw dealer. They tend to be leaking after a while,and you loose power over time.. First thing i will do,when getting a new saw and it have a decomp valve is plugging it off

    Right out of the manual. Good review. I have had to go for longer than 30 seconds on the full throttle run. RPMs cycle up and down on their own. Feels so weird. My question is how often do you need to do this. Manual is not very specific. Each time you use it? Once a season? When it’s acting up? How often have you had to?

    • @ChainsawFarmer1
      @ChainsawFarmer1  Před 3 lety +3

      I've only had to do it once. But I'd say if it starts bogging down on throttle squeeze before ramping up you need to do it. That's what it was doing with me. People say change in temp and elevation as well. I say just do it when it's acting funky.

    Это в основном то, как вы это делаете, убедитесь, что включён,тормоз цепи и вы собираетесь идти вперёд и запускать пилу с дроссельной заслонки, не касались дроссельной заслонки вообще ты позволишь пеле стаять без действия в течение третьего - 60 секунд хорошо после чего, я как делаю 35 и 35, вот как я оставлю его там на холостом ходу в течение 35 секунд, затем я разорву цепь выключаю пелу.
    ‌ И я полностью открываю дроссельную заслонку в течение 35 секунд и смотрю, как это. Просто повернул так, что когда вы здвигаете это вниз, вы собираетесь полностью открыть вы не отрежити ногу или что-то ещё, что держите, держите ее хорошо и крепко в ваших руках, так что 35 секунд в течение этих 35 секунд ваша пила впервые
    ‌вероятно, 15 секунд будут звучать так, как будто это полный газ, но потом
    ‌он собирается перейти на другую передачу, как это звучит, и просто идти вдвое тяжелее а затем он снова начнет работать на холостом ходу, и после этого 35 секунд, вы просто отпускаете дроссель и выключаете пилу, и вот как бы сбрасиваете ms 362, чтобы увидеть с mtronik на нем почти все остальные в руководстве все ещё написано, как я сказал, пусть он работает на мягком холостом ходу или просто на холостом ходу, не нажимая
    ‌дроссельной заслонке на 30 60 секунд, а затем нажмите на спусковой крючок не менее 30 секунд и удерживайте его, удерживайте, не отпускайте, а затем после этого да, это было сбросить, и вы можете выключить его, и теперь вы можете снова начать пилить, ВОТ и всё.
