Lots of gorgeous glaze combinations. Amaco Mayco and spectrum glazes. Layering techniques and a beautiful bubble glazed chip and dip bowl! More playing with hand painted underglaze patterns with cats, a pig and even a snake! Look out for the skull and blood mug, is it scary or cool?? Enjoy my muddy people xx

Hi Nat and Trace, a wonderful kiln opening! Some amazing pieces. Think my favourites are the dip and chip bowl...wowzers that is stunning and the river birch honey flux bowl,I love love love that combo. Glad you have an even year coming up bless you😊❤❤❤

I had a cone touch a pot in my last firing so I feel your pain. The tiny bit of cenote is fine. The bowl is wonderful. Really nice opening!

I thought that way as well. Another thing you can do is bisque the pot. Do all your under glazing then bisque a second time. I do this as well.

Hello Nat, Trace and Joel!!! You are all in my prayers. I can’t imagine breaking a leg and having to have that surgery! Nat you’re going to get great at nursing through all of this. Lol. Trace I’m so very sorry to hear you were in the hospital again. I spent 9 years bed ridden and it is absolutely horrible! So glad you’re home though. And with a friend like Nat I’m sure she will keep you entertained like she does us!!
Nat the problem with your clear is very odd. Please be sure to call the company. They are always so helpful. I absolutely love your snake mug Nat! How fun and creative is that! My favorite has to be the chip and dip for sure!! The pig mug looks just like a pig. So creative! I also LOVE that you showed us your first pieces!!!! My first piece doesn’t have a bottom because I went all the way through!!

Never used it, and I don't know how it works, BUT I wonder if we can pour it over the glass layer in the bowl and make the bowl foodsafe. Hmmmmm? 🤔 Sending good vibes your way, both of you! Such challenges you are both experiencing. 🙏
Hey beautiful lady! Thankyou so much! Someone suggested in here doing it at bisque. Still won’t b food safe of course but may reduce crazing.
I've put a clear resin over my cracked glass pieces in the past. I don't sell them as food safe, but you won't have to worry about tiny cracks.

It works better is paint underglaze on green ware then bisque it. Once bisque then glaze with clear. Comes out much better. I had that problem.
Oh that makes sense! I’m too scared to paint on greenware mugs tho w handles scared I’ll knock them off.

As the marbles possibly melt at a lower temperature, put a bowl through the glaze firing, add the marbles then put it back through a bisque firing, they may retain their colour. When I use beach glass which is in fact bottle glass it put it through a glaze firing, if I use art glass I put it through a third firing at 600c. I don’t know melting temperature of marbles your marbles

Hi Evelyn, this was my 2nd time in hospital this year with severe sciatic pain caused by 2 bulging discs in my lower back.
@@Tjsclaycreations oh shit ypu poor thing. I hope it improves for you. I know how that feels. I had an intern practice lumbar punctures on me. 3 sessions 25 holes. He hit a nerve and anesthetic wore off, soooo painful. From then on I've had chronic pain in spine now arthritis. When doing something a bit heavy or turn the wrong way I suffer. Plus occasionally the sciatica too.
