- Welcome back to the channel! We went to a university today that we've never dove before! The college we frequent no longer has the big dumpsters out, so we decided to switch things up and MAN am I glad we did ! The dumpsters were full on this campus and even the smaller residential ones outside the dorms were completely overflowing.. what a mess.

My daughter's large state college has trucks where students can donate items they don't want at the end of the semester. They allow students to go look and take what they want also. I was impressed!

It was great to see Kelly actually get in the dumpster! And found sooo much in doing so! I realize the dumpsters have nasty stuff in them, but for college move out, it seems like you need to actually get in there and move things. Good work! 😃

I find it rather disgusting that college administrators don’t set up some sort of donation area for canned goods that could be passed on to food pantries. So glad you both rescue it and pass it along to those who actually need it. You’ll have to let us know how much money you found in those purses.
I agree and the cleaning products tbh most stuff that gets dumped on this move out days could go to good use like shelters etc colleges should be ashamed that nothings in place to make good off these items , glad people like Kelly n Alex are out there doing some good 👍🏻

Something else to take advantage of during university move out - car sales. My daughter works at a university in New Hampshire with a pretty large international student population. When they get ready to return to their home country, if they've owned a car while attending classes (many of the foreign students come from very wealthy families) they often sell them for quite a discount. My daughter's landlord got a really good deal a couple of years ago.

That box with the red heart might be a device to send messages. Student has one, Mom has the other. You touch it to let the other person know you’re thinking of them. They’re heart lights up!

You needed to get those two empty totes without lids to put all your stuff in. Easy to load and carry away.
A Scout troop should come up with a program for those seeking an Eagle badge in association with these schools to sort the "trash" prior to it going in the dumpsters. Like you they could donate and sell the rest, making money for the troop. Really a campus student organization could do the same.
It didn't take too long to fill up the truckbed at the new college. Money in purses is always a good find! 😊

Just a little tip from me to you - floor rugs are easy to clean if you lay them on the driveway and use like a car brush and some soap and water and scrub them up. Good rinse them and hang them dry. It’s actually pretty easy.
Curious if it would be too expensive for you guys to rent a u-haul just for week of college moveout? I’d chip in just to be able to see that. 😊😊😊

Wow really? I would think it's bad optics that the school's students behave like entitled consumers.
You two need one of those truck bed cargo net things for situations like this! It will allow you to pile higher without the risk of things blowing out. A tarp works only so well and will catch wind. The nets are great and strong! They use them on a lot of the videos I have see with people buying storage units. They look to be made out of the same concept as bungy cords but net form.

Look at the stuff that gets thrown away! No regard for value, purpose or sense of charity. The mess in front of the small dumpster was appalling. Like some sick game of monkey see, monkey do. These are the same kids pleading and begging for the latest and greatest but will turn around and chuck it when it’s no longer wanted. Shameful 😡
I would have spent all my time and energy on finding more bags with money. Money is the easiest thing to donate and there are thousands of Charities needing money right now. There are too many Country's at War and so many Children are suffering. And they don't know why this is happening to them. I'm so glad that you two have such giving Hearts. I pray that GOD gives you way more money so you can be of help wherever it's needed😻
Vera Bradley bags are not a big deal. I get them at my thrift store for a dollar. You can do what you want with your personal property.
I feel that people who throw away money haven't yet worked hard enough to earn it on their own. Disrespectful of parents, guardians, or scholarship sponsors.

A song in his heart reminded me of my old neighbor whenever he was outside working out doing yard work he had his music blaring and singing at the top of his lungs having the time of his life! Was hilarious! He never did it super early or super late so wasn’t bothering anyone!

One thing I have learned from watching you dive after college move out, college students are wasteful. A lot of those items could be re-used for the next year. It's terrible how much the just toss out for no reason. Kinda scary that this is our future.... Great finds!

Hi, we're in an apartment near Chicago. Neighbors who've moved have given us cleaning supplies, light bulbs, furniture, house plants, and more. Suitcases go to
women's shelters. Other items get passed on as appropriate. Tina, Al's wife

I did this once at my son’s college. I only had a few minutes before I was drug away. lol. But it was so fun. I found stuff for my friend’s daughter. And even a sealed bath bomb. What I liked was it was a walk-in dumpster! I really didn’t want to go. But it was winter. Snowy and cold.

A little info..... I've been a hairdresser for 40yrs wanted ya'all to know that stuffed animals are the number 2 thing that keeps and harbours lice,( hair being #1)wash them in hot,hot water and if u can't wash them I suggest a lice spray u can purchase at any drug store.
