I have an M1 Mac, and it works, but there is some flickering. I’d imagine it’s the same on the M2.
@@TheSpareTechRoom Thank you for your advice. I tried it and disliked it very much! Had other issues with it as well. Could you offer a suggestion for a good 4K Webcam without breaking the bank which would work properly with a Mac Mini M2 chip?

Others people reviewing the camera mentioned not only an Mac-specific issue but also an issue regarding any other video cards than Nvidia.

Great question! I personally have an Nvidia gpu, so everything worked perfectly. It does seem Elgato uses Nvidia’s SDK for their effects, so although the camera will still work with other GPU’s, the additional effects may not.

Coming the the original facecam I see that with the Mk.2 there is no longer an option for usb transfer mode or am I missing something. With the original I had it set to isochronus which is why I ask
I’m not seeing an option to switch the usb transfer mode, but I’ll also say I haven’t been having any lag issues with the mk. 2, like a lot of people had with the original model. It’s seems they fixed it.
@@TheSpareTechRoom I had an issue with it lagging while using obs and tried everything I could think of and ultimately ended up doing a factory reset on windows and problem gone so 🤷🏽♂️
The Mac issue is a total dealbreaker. Sad indeed.
