While I understand the plight of the upstanding biker ( since I fall into that category, myself ), it's really hard to sympathize with the Banditos not wanting to be labeled "outlaws" when their name is literally Spanish for "outlaw". I met a Bandido long ago back in 1970 I think it was in Lubbock, Tx. & he was not thug. He just didn't want anyone messing with him over BS. I was just a 13 year old kid & here was a Bandido in a motorcycle shop talking to each other like they knew each other. He tried to buy a patch off a jacket that I had on at the time that was my Dads. Couldn't do it & basically that was that. I knew he could have kicked my young butt around & took it but the Man never offered anything like that. The man treated me with Respect like I was his next door neighbors kid & I showed him Respect also. Hell that was the way I was raised. Hell he even helped me as a kid fix my dirt bike & we both rode the shit out of it for about an hour before he had to take off. I would say he was a good guy that just didn't want any shit from anyone. I can't blame him in that respect as I have been that way my whole life too. It seems that kid learned something that day.
