Larry, the mustang (Episode 1) When Horses Choose in New Mexico USA

Larry is a 5 years old mustang who had been auctioned and previously gentled. His owners have 2 other horses and they all live as a herd, and they give them a pretty good life with love and care. They love to go on trail rides on the desert and mountais, but Larry is very strong and gives them a hard time when ridden bitless -he runs off.
Looking for a way to strengthen their relationship, establish leadership and go bitless, Mizu and Lindsey call Mia to train Larry using the method When Horses Choose.

Love it! And love that Mia has started filming stuff for us again! After I rescued my kill pen mare 5 years ago and I found that she was so green and spooky, Mia was the first trainer I found that was training from the ground and at liberty. Being older, and a rider all my life I had enough knowledge to know that riding was NOT where to start with this new one! Thank you Mia for the wonderful training!

this horse is herd bound and what's the big deal about going bit less. I never get in to my horses mouth. I ride all of them with neck and leg reining. on trails you need to have them trust you completely before going without a bit.
