@@wokeamerica142 I hate to say it but you’re right because I don’t hate gen 5 but it doesn’t have the same special charm that gen 4 had with the mane 6 for 10 years now and they should’ve done a series after the time skip or during it because I hate how gen 4 and 5 is connected not to mention they made only one Mlp movie ONLY ONE with the mane 6. Also we see discord on a new comic cover being sad since he outlived his friends especially fluttershy.
Anybody who didn’t think Minty Root was going to place number 1 or who hasn’t seen the Missing Out animation, go ahead and do yourself a favor and follow that link to the video and watch it right now. ‘Tis truly a masterpiece, and my eyeballs feel privileged for simply being able to gaze upon such perfection (in all seriousness though, this month was GREAT for pony content, the ride truly never ends).
I don't regret watching missing out it felt nostalgic and I cried because I have memories watching FiM since season 1 came out in 2010. Also the animation is so pretty.
Wow that's so weird, I got Picture Perfect Pony stuck in my head earlier this week. I had no idea it was the 10 year anniversary! Crazy how that works huh

As someone who joined the fandom in 2016, Missing Out was definitely something that I could relate to. I think Minty Root's work is incredible and that it is a crime for CZcams to mark it as "Made For Kids".
I'm glad I still click on these from time to time and still find new animators to follow.
Rainbow Chandelier was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I adored the song and the beautiful animation. I’m now going to revisit it for nostalgia.
Missing Out also had graceful animation. It’s always nice to see animations about Starlight. And the message was really something I needed to hear, since I too felt like I missed out, specifically on the early days of the fandom. It’s sad that it got flagged but I hope more people will watch it and give it love.
It really seems passing from Gen 4 to Gen 5 has gotten a lot more people interested in past gens. Looking forward to even more cross-gen content.
Minty Root’s was definitely my favorite this month. It was so good!

The top 10 videos really are great since they show videos to people that otherwise would not have known almost any pony video makers at all. Like 80% of the ones I'm subbed to and watch are probably from these alone, so keep up the great work! :D
Jan's animation was still the best even by today's standard. Yeah, Sam went to the furry fandom alright. I recall it was early 2020.

Princess Celestia was originally supposed to be a Queen, but in order to prevent her from being confused with another Hasbro-owned character they instead made her a princess.

Yes, Missing Out is awesome, and it will certainly became the new "classic" in a couple of years. I never figured out why is this "Made For Kids" rule benefical to protecting minors, I mean the easiest way is just ban stuff that are too bad, marking stuff as "Made For Kids" and locking down a bunch of things just feel really redundant. They could also just use a separate platform for kids, lock comments there while we can have fun here. Seriously, it is like they are too lazy to do stuff and too prideful to change, things won't go well for them, I'm sure.
Also, Rainbow Chandelier is extremely cool, I've never seen a video with such amazing visuals, and I hope Sam can come back one day.
Seriously though, Sam is still active on the Chinese version of CZcams(Bilibili, and for the record, it also has poor policies because it never allows anything a bit too edgy), he has an account link in his userpage and he has posted his plans about making Pony videos last year in March. He is currently busy in the furry fandom and working on a 3d game. According to that post, he hasn't given up yet, so I think there is still hope for us.
P.S.:CZcams marked Rainbow Chandelier as "Make For Kids" and you didn't even mention that? We must fix it along with Missing Out, don't you think?

I forgot that gin animations had to stop because Hasbro and dhx feared this fan animator so much that they thought other fans would flock to his channel for MLP Canon content and it's kind of sick in the head that they forced him to take his channel down instead of oh I don't know giving him a damn job and allowing him to continue to post on his channel under the caveat that he puts Fan Work in the beginning of the dang title
