- Young Thug attorney Brian Steel argued with Judge Ural Glanville about addressing him inappropriately in several occasions in front of the jury. The argument comes after Glanville stated that Steel was "unprepared." "I don't get embarrassed by you, but I don't want to embarrass you," the attorney said.

I've done it as a pro se litigant. File the motion to recuse and attach supporting affidavit/transcript/evidence. He is horrible and I can't imagine the poor defendant who has had to be tried in his courtroom. They stood no chance.

Mr. Steel has honor and stands up for what he believes is right. He bit his tongue way too long. Glanville has consistently yelled at the defense, rushed them, over ruled 99% of their objections didn't care when they had no WiFi etc, but today he went too far and embarrassed Steel and completely tarnished his reputation in front of the jurors. Glanville lets Love get away with everything he is 100% so biased totally unfair its blatantly obvious.

He should not call a lawyer unprepared in front of the jury. It's highly prejudicial.
Why should we treat lawyers like parents treat their kids? Like they are perfect, little angels. A judge oversees the entire court proceeding. They aren't just sitting there listening to evidence and testimonies and finalize the judgement of the jury. They have to administrate the courtroom and the whole case. If a lawyer is floundering around and wasting the court's time, then a judge has the right, nay the duty, to get the case back on track. They are using taxpayer dollars after all. Defense lawyers don't care about taxpayers, they don't care if they delay, delay, delay. If a lawyer is unprepared, they are unprepared. A judge is within their rights to admonish counsel if they haven't done their diligence.

The difference is as Mr Steele has said.....it's being done in front of the jury ONLY to Mr. Steele. When the state gets admonished, the jury is out, I've been watching this. Steele has every right to be upset. Glanville has treated Steele like a child, screaming at him "Do you understand? Mr Steele! Do you understand?" I was in disbelief watching that! It's uncalled for and extremely unprofessional! This guy should no longer be sitting on the bench.

It seems like it's the lawyer who has his ego in a twist. The judge was tetchy with both sides because he was trying to move things along at a reasonable pace, instead of catering to their (perhaps deliberate) delaying tactics.

Judicial Qualification Comission needs to get a complaint on him. He like the prosecutors think they are above the law and their law license allows their constant lies against people. Love said Steele misrepresented facts to the court about Bean being at Grady Hospital. She called Steele a liar but then Steele had a recording and she changed her tune but he didn't do anything against her. The state wants people to believe a man gets shot but never went to the hospital and never spoke to a detective...Really!

He is constantly telling him to "move along" or "have a seat" or "we will take that up later" Then the next minute he is upset that they are not prepared or delaying the court by bringing up matters that he needs to address. Meanwhile, we are having whole day sidebars and hours long arguments and explanations with the prosecutors about their objections, last min witnesses and evidence, and the judges rulings. Guilty or not, these people have a right to a fair trail, and this ain't it!

I’ve watched this trial all the way back from when they were still picking a jury and this judge has been horrible from the start and the bias is incredibly obvious over and over again!!! He talks about stuff being delayed etc yet he takes soooooooooo many breaks and I’ve NEVER seen him be back in the court room when he says he’s going to. Judge is never on time for anything. And he does an outstanding job on appeals. He has gotten convictions reversed. This judge and the prosecutors are threatened by him. Pre-trial they tried to get him off Williams' representation but the motion was denied so that's the reason for the dirty games. That whole darn courthouse needs a clean sweeping from the top down. They have eroded the public trust. So far I've seen Steele point out altered arrest affidavits. There are missing detective interviews/altered pages to their reports. Love claimed a shot Mr. Bean never went to the hospital while making unfounded claims that Steele misrepresented facts to the court but Steele had a recording which showed she was lying and of course, the judge had no problem with that. He didn't even speak up about it to Love. She was the one misleading the court. I pray those missing interview tapes get discovered. When Steele is done ATL will be 100% exposed. This whole court system needs investigating. People have been locked up and the projection is 2027 for this case to end.

I said a while ago that this judge was always rolling his eyes when he was directing questions in court to the attorneys and looking at the jury like "he's about to lie guys" making that "yeah ok" face just seems like he is persuading the jury to not like or believe him so im glad he stood up and said something Finally!
