I think Jill was the best of the 90s moms/wives. She wasn’t mean to Tim like Debra Barone or Carrie Heffernan. Cheryl from According to Jim was good too.
Even though the show portrayed the stereotypical "oaf" husband and capable wife, Tim was good to them. He was faithful, provided for them and loved them. Loved this show!
Jill Taylor was EXACTLY like my mom. Her personality and sense of humour was spot on. The way she put Tim in his place was the exact same way my Mom put my Dad in her place. My mom passed away 10 years ago and watching Home Improvement brings back hilarious memories. My dad loves watching it too for the same reason. He always says that there was no one like my Mother. The words of my Dad “She never put up with my shit and that is why I could never remarry. There was no other woman like her”. 😂
At number 6 I can understand Tim's anger towards Mark. It wasn't just because he stolen something it was the fact that he had stolen from Harry and Al, Tim's closet friends. But I have to agree with Jill that they should've agreed as to how to approach the situation.
One of the best shows to ever be on TV. Tim was the man who wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he sure was fun trying to figure life out. All the characters were spot on, and it was sad day when the show went off the air.
The episode "The Look" was one of my favorite episodes, when Delores is in the hardware store she did the look perfectly, the look on the guys faces were classic!!! 😀😀 I laughed so hard!!!! 😂😂
I always felt that the fights between Tim and Jill were some of the most realistic on TV. This is how married people actually talk to each other.

“You fired the granite guy?!” Classic line

Fun to watch Tim the 'Toolman' trying to get himself out of trouble with the wife..
"That's what you said 17 years ago when I married you, and I'm still waiting for a good one"
Ironically this was one of the few shows we watched together as a family before my parents divorced. I still fall asleep to it almost every night.
Pat's such a great actress. I'm glad Tim hired her to be his Jill.
I have so many fond memories growing up with this show, back when times were good.
It was such a great show, watched it faithfully my whole childhood. Tims standup is pretty funny as well.

This show has taught me so much. I’m 31 and not married but if when that day comes I’ll take some of this into it
This show was so good 😊
Man I always loved that house
Best family show ever
