The red aura that Palm saw was Pitou’s. The aura Knov saw was Pouf’s since Pitou was busy healing the king. Pouf said he was going to go use his En to watch the palace when Pitou pulled out her Doctor Blythe ability.
Yeah, and iirc Pouf said his isn't as strong as Pitou's, which is why it only reached the staircase.

@@5alami5ami Pouf is much much weaker than Pitou so it's only logical that he has weaker Aura , However I think it is the most sinister because to have that kind of effect on a top notch Hunter like Knov

@@markdelavega4953 so you are saying, gon greed island is much much stronger than killua was in that arc? Or even in heavens arena arc? Since killuas nen is naturally smaller than gons?
I really love how in the beginning Killua said that Gon is like light. And in this episode we see Killua being a light for Ikalgo (literally going through the open door were daylight filters in)
This fight is why Morel is my favorite, he's just so damn good at using his ability and I think only Hisoka is as creative with his Nen. Also fun fact that I don't think get's mentioned anywhere, Morel is a Manipulator just like Illumi , that female bodyguard in Kurapika's arc and Sharlnark. I always thought that Manipulator meant controlling people but Morel shows that it can be anything and the way he manipulates the smoke is so amazing. Morel the GOAT man!!!!
If you think back to York New arc, Kurapika was pretending to be a manipulator with his real chain to hide being a conjurer. But yeah, fair to have thought it was only people since that is what a lot of the Manipulators we see do..
Yeah Hisoka would love Morel I think. Hisoka absolutely adores people with abilities that are as versatile as his own. That's why he loves Machi too, because her ability reminds him of his own. He would just schwing for Morel for sure.
The first manipulator we meet (after we're introduced to the concept of nen categories, anyway) doesn't control people either - the spinning top guy in Heaven's Arena. Then again, he's not exactly the most memorable, so fair enough that people might forget him.
@@ZaberFangAT Gido the top guy is not a manipulator, he's an enhancer. The show even makes a point that he doesn't control his tops for the entire first fight, and he only "controls" them in the second fight by sending them directly to Gon which only lasts 3 seconds. It's not even clear if it requires manipulation as it could just be his throwing technique.
@@Arkayjiya For some reason, I could have sworn they said he was a manipulator. Guess I was misremembering things. Thinking back on it now, I remember them saying he had no real control over where they went, which a manipulator would.
Knov didnt just experienced the malicious aura of Pouf but he did that under stress of being found alone in enemy territory and more importantly, he did the stealth mission using Zetsu.
Zetsu inhibts your aura so he was being affected by those feelings of Pouf without any defense. Remember how Killua reacted when Wing and Hisoka affect him with Bloodlust Aura back in the Heavens Arena Arc? Its like that but this time, its for real and Pouf's aure is stronger and more visceral too.
He didnt touch pouf's aura, otherwise he would have notice knov.
But zetsu does put you in a vulnerable position, not only physically but mentally too.
He saw the aura of a frustrated pouf while on zetsu, trying to navigate the lion's den.

This is why Nen is a great power system. It's not about its nature, but how it's used. If you tell me a character can create smoke and use it to fight I wouldn't be impressed at all, but Morel is being so creative and clever with the ways he's using it. Same thing goes for Hisoka, one of the most intimidating foes in the show but his power is just some rubber and gum? That's genius writing imo.
And they both use psychological tactics.
Only difference is that morel tries to see makes you tick and hisoka tries to see what makes you run.
Two side of a manipulator
the black aura thag knov and palm saw first was by Pouf, and the red was the one by Pitou.
Nen is definitely really interesting, but what really evelate it imo is the execution- Even muscleheads like Gon and Uvogin uses their powers really well, and turn "be strong" into more than just that, let alone characters like Morel who are not good at enhancement and thus have to focus more on being flexible and smart than on Gigatons.
Togashi is really excellent at making awesome battles which includes huge flashy effects but aren't solely won by said effects.
Also something I think that might have been missed the last few episodes - Killua post needle is really a very different and much more free person that he was, and not just power wise. He imo never could have made friends with Ikalgo previously.

really love morel appreciation, i love morel too, and, in hxh, everyone is smart, not like one-of-a-kind-genius way, but everyone has decent logics and every move they do is well thought from every aspect, the good and the bad that follows every decision, it makes sense, like people really use their thinking for specific purpose in hxh, it's like about who outsmarts who
Episode 106 is so crazy with the breaking of this character
dont see anyone mentioning this but.. the reason knov was so affected and had a meltdown was cus throughout his invasion in the palace, he purposely turned off all of his nen so as to not be detected. naked and completely vulnerable to the malice of poufs en. it wouldve been far worse had it been pitous
Knov saw Pouf's aura. Pitou's aura is more like an amoeba that can go anywhere she wants. Pouf's aura is more of darkness and misery - that's what put Knov off completely.

You better remember how Knov looks now, and how he will look like later. A real interpretation of how strong the royal guards are.
Pouf''s aura is smaller in size but more menacing than Pitou also Knov was in zetsu state so he couldn't use nen to protect himself.
Headcannon on top of nonsense. Nothing in the show suggest Poufs aura is "more menacing" and there's no possible way Knov would be in Zetsu. He was literally using his abilities. Plus turning his aura on and off would be announcing to everyone in the palace that he's there

@@PlanetaryPluto yeah, "nothing" except for the fact, that nen depends on the user's character and we can see that Pouf is much more "evil" or "menacing" than Pitou. Also, of course theory about Knov's zetsu state is just a theory, but how can you be so sure that he didn't use it? Because he used his abilities? Why can't we assume that he just used Zetsu in "efficient" way so he could still be able to use his abilities? It's hard to believe that Knov, who said multiple times how important this mission is, would just burst into the palace full of nen users without any cover, it's just doesn't make any sense. Though him using Zetsu has nothing to do with his mental breakdown.

@@PlanetaryPluto Saying there's "no possible way" Knov was using zetsu tells me you don't understand nen at all. Is it possible he wasn't? Sure. Is it the only possibility? Absolutely not. In fact, context clues point towards him using zetsu.
I like how Nov created a portal door to his ability and instead of using it to jump in he run out the castle just to have a mental breakdown in rain and mud
It would activate is as a nen ability rather than an object conceled in zetsu.
His only way out was always on foot.
It was almost a suicide mission

Killua's development is something so beautiful. I love how in this arc Killua & Gon almost switch their roles. Killua is the light of this arc.

Knobs breakdown is nie if my favourite scences in this arc. I imagine Pitous aura being like the dementors in Harry Potter. Facing something like that shakes and sometimes breaks you on a deep level
btw, let me remind you of wing's talks when he said the ( aura could kill you ) this is why knov is so scared and psychological affected , he was under zetsu form that means he's almost faced the aura of pouf, to hide his existence to make the hole without catching him, ( pouf's aura was full of haterd against the humans ) it was too harsh than pitou's aura .

just to make a clarification that wasnt pitou aura at all,it was pouf which is less stronger then pitou aura,and yet it was enought to put know into panic.

Actually this ability of Knov could easily kill any royal guard and probably King as well. Just get on Meleoron, come behind any enemy that doesn't suspect anything and use Scream ability to severe the head. Only issue I see, if it would be visible to others, but Knuckes APR is made from nen and is invisible, so, it is safe to assume that it just makes all nen invisible while Gods accomplice active. Also because Meleoron first of all wanted Gon to use his ability, which also concentrates nen and probably it would also be invisible to others.

Probably, but the thing is, for meleoron ability to work, he needs to trust them fully. He didnt really trust shoot, thats why in the invasion arc, he couldnt save shoot with his ability when shoots injured. And furthermore, if you think about it, shoot’s ability works better than knuckle. Imagine with one tap you can takeaway an oppponent eyes, and with enough damage, you can seal them completely

He’s sexually attracted to power. And he doesn’t care if it’s coming from machi or gon.
I don’t think Hisoka has a regular sex drive. I believe his whole existence is based on the drive to prove himself against powerful opponents - so his sex drive also manifests itself as attraction for power and potential.
Just treat him like a normal character and forget it 😅😅😅
