- Today’s video is about SANWA. Futaba I cant say much about but SANWA yes! Sanwa Super Vortex Drift 2 & Generation 2 Pro ESC are two of the best tune on the fly esc that Sanwa offers. It works seamlessly with Sanwa transmitters and receivers. I went over a good chunk of #rcdrift criteria as it pertains to this ESC.
The Sanwa brand doesnt get a lot of love in the RC Drift community. Rightfully so? There is so much that the ESC offers to its users for #rcdrifting but is it good enough? I think so. I am just a casual drifter to some and I am also not sponsored by anyone so this is totally unbiased.
I cant say much about customer service with this company because none of my stuff has broken.

I got a MT44 and a Super vortex pro as well ,it's great love the on the fly adjustment

how do you set REV Limiter? please help.
The 2nd generation does not offer rev limiter function
Can the program box gen2 program the sgs-02 as well? Like function like a program card multi setting gear?
No. The Multi Setting Gear is for the gyro.
The M17 can program the servo and gyro though.
@@idealautofactory Ah thanks! So you need like 2 prog cards to adjust esc and servo/gyro

@@dencio1976you just need a splitter to run both ESC and gyro to the SSL port.
What I’m really looking for is some tunes to try from pro drivers overseas😂 I just adjust from what Sanwa recommends on their website. Better explanation of the codes would be appreciated.
What grip you used on your transmitter wheel?
R Design Foam. Super Wide Foam I believe.
Hi need helo with the sanwa esc. In manual it say this esc cant switch motor direction rotation. Is that true? So if my spur gear in the left driver side this esc is unusable cause ill be going backwards in reverse?
True. Swap spur and pinion to other side or add an idler gear in between the pinion and current spur
@@idealautofactory thank you. Wonder why they made it like that. So this motor can mainly be used for chassis with spur gear on right side.
@goguma2008 I don’t know to be honest. Its not an esc for everyone but its so simple to me.
yeah this esc wont work on newer cars like yokomo sd 2.0 cause the spur gear is on the driver side
