Song in the intro "Crip Go Crazy" by IsitBeezy ( • Crip Go Crazy - IsitBeezy )
Me and my wife went to Seattle a few years ago. I'm from Dallas Cliffside Texas and my wife is from Flint Michigan. We really enjoyed the city. We didn't see hood like we're used to but we saw a few spots. Again, Seattle has to be one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. We rode around for 2 days and then drove to Vancouver. Salute to Seattle.
Bro don't be fooled the 80$ and 90$ Tacoma and Seattle look like south Central LA on god!!! Has alot of history trust!!
@@ashleypeterson340it ain’t the 80$ or 90$ tho so what’s your point
Tacoma, Portland and Yakima is worse

It's all clear water in greentrees until you get involved with the folks anybody who's been to any type of hood should know that
I moved to Seattle about 5 years ago. Seattle is a place where u can grow and actually prosper work wise. The pay is good and if you really on your grind u can get it. People out here will welcome u with open arms as long as u don’t come with that bs. It’s all about respect at the end of the day. Stay out the way and you’re good.
Go back to your own state
I’ve been here since 98’ from Maryland and I see no lies told 🙏🏾
🤣🤣🤣🤣🖕🏼Black mfkas always come with bs. Sneaky af. Always ready to take what doesn't belong to them bkuz of envy and greed.
get out, people like you ruined the city
Real talk, Seattle the s#|π
These dudes out here in Seattle are the most polite gangsters ive ever seen. Out there on Aurora drinking coffee and shit.😂😂
Shoutout out to all my LakeCity homies from the old 'Trey Deuce' kickin out in front of the 711 on 145th. All those dude were cool as hell when i moved in the neighborhood
RIP to the big homie 'Stone'
I know a nigga named stone who be out that way he be rappin
I mean that's how it supposed to be tho , ain't nobody trynna get locked up for sum stupid , they stay lowkey & quiet but don't press em will be a bad mistake 💥
the dude holding that coffee cup is a crip from LA, Big sad he raps too music is dope you should peep him out.
@@Luckyj206 I'll do that. And for the record I have no doubt in my mind, those are some real hittas. But honestly alot of these dudes, just aren't like the old heads from back in the day who always had a bad attitude and something to prove. These dudes around here just have a little more manners.😅
@@lgp787 no doubt in my mind. These dudes are some heavy hitters. Get out outta line they'll straighten u up real quick.
South Seattle got real talent when it comes to hoopers Nate Robinson, Kevin porter jr, dejounte Murray, Jamal Crawford etc
Salute and thanks for doing Seattle. I am born and raised downtown seattle. I am 52 and also lived in the Central District and Rainier Valley, things have changed a lot especially since I was growing up in the 1980s and 90s but I still love my city and would never live anywhere else.
It is great there and I have lived 11 metropolitan areas

I’ve never heard hood and Seattle in the same sentence… I’m intrigued lol
Lol. We don’t have a lot em but we have em
Tukwila and Tacoma are between 20 and 40 minutes north. Both are worse.
@Dallas Bagley lol you mean South. And Tukwila is only 10 minutes and Tac 30
Most of the thugs are originally from California. The fruits and nuts worked their way up interstate 5 mainly since the 1990's.
Rainier Beach and everything south of that basically . Central District has been sized
Y'all putting it down for the hometown! Keep droppin dat history on em! I was the security for that parking lot and hit up the StarBucks...a shot out to the fam from the CD 2 da Southend! Luv 2 da homiz in West Seattle too! One love!
I moved to Seattle from the Bay Area 20 years ago, Seattle hoods act similar to Oakland California!
That’s why we were slappin Bay Shit Heavy in when it was Spice 1, Mac Mall, E40 the Click and The Luniz up here back then.
All the hood folk got pushed out of Seattle. Similar to SF
I grew up in the South Bronx in the 70's, man it was hell, buildings burning daily, winter time the suppa, didn't buy heating oil our apt was cold, water pipes froze we got our water from the fire hydrant, gangs everywhere, graduated H.S. joined the Army now I'm 20 year active service retired 100% disabled veteran, still miss my South Bronx, once a year I tour the area.
That Tuda dude went to all them different hoods and everyone showed him love that says a lot !
The hoods ain't really different hoods like that lol it's not like how in Cali diff hoods mean something.
@@goudagrishhdoe8925Seattle's peaceful if u peaceful get involved and get chased down in broad day with that Kay
I see men in their 30's who don't want to except the fact that Seatttle is gentrified and safe. Isn't it embarrassing when people drive by in a nice neighborhood and they still see us standing around like we're still lost in the ghetto.
Gentrification yes. Safe? Unfortunately not for alot of blackmen😢💯
bout 15 mins south had bout 50 homicides last year do u hear what they saying they getting money and ppl who ain't gotta move south Seattle got tired of it jacked up the rent it's not gonna be like that rn but it was now u gotta go down I5 few exits
I’m sorry… Safe ???? Seattle ???
As a city belonging to humans on planet earth, Seattle is most definitely not safe. Ik a man got excecuted on sight by a car passneger and zoomed off right infront of ppl 3 am big building downtown Seattle. Seattle has bill gates estate two mile's proximity to homeless camps. Seattle area is home to laundering money for some of the worlds largest organized crime. It is absolutely dangerous. Like anywhere else in America, it a fucking jungle.
@@tacomtim2678no where in seattle had 50 homicides in a year.. maybe Across the whole city but no where is that dangerous where 50 people got dropped in 1 region
I’ve lived in Seattle for 30+ years. I grew up in the heart of bad neighborhoods such as Rainier Valley and the old projects in Holly Park. It was bad but not dangerous, maybe 20 years ago but now Seattle is safe. I don’t know why these guys standing around trying hard to make Seattle seems like it’s bad, but it’s not bad at all nowadays. What’s the point of trying to make your community look tough? That’s just making your people look bad….SMH
It’s safe for you cause you ain’t involved wit nobody or no one lol mf’s get shot everyday still
20 years ago was more safe then now😂 Seattle Rn putting up higher numbers then the 2000s but still ain’t shit to they 80s/90s numbers idk if you lying or not bout being in Seattle still these niggas ain’t gotten safer for nobody😂

I appreciate you sharing a inner glimpse of Seattle. Its about family, good food, keeping the bs out. At the end of the day....its about living your best life, helping family and being grateful. Not many can survive in Seattle. You need serious purpose, dollars and connections. Family is strong. Thank you.
They need to bring the Seattle supersonics back to the NBA
THEY WAS TALKING ABOUT IT
Still crazy to think they drafted Kevin Durant I got his Supersonics jersey
They need to treat Shawn Kemp like a regular humanbeing. Why is he not in jail? Why is he getting special treatment from the city and state because of his skin color.
Facts that's why GP won't retire his jersey
Agreed!
Much love for this! Got some real Seattle cats in this one. That super 24 on the Westside has always been the spot. Shoutout to my Delridge homies gettin those chips.

I wanna hear more of what the old head was saying from the 60s. He was explaining probably the importance of how now a days dudes be ready to pick up a gun and how they weigh heavy on fighting. I like the family aspect of things. These blogs are appreciated
Same!!!
To be real, who truly gives a damn about how they settled beef? Every hood is the same shit with a few exceptions. Anyone over 20 years old should be acting in a civil manner. Fighting as a grown ass adult is childplay. Niggas need to educate themselves and quit worrying about petty shit. Learn how to trade stocks and utilize credit.
OK, you asked sooo -- OLD HEAD here ! He was referencing to how we used to fight it out or catch a fair one if there was beef. Lasting beefs could end up mutual- (you stay outta my way / i stay outta yours) Violence (guns) didnt really start as a major issue till about the late early 90s. id graduated college @ UW by that point. ---- gangs didnt really start becoming an issue till around 93. btw- i dont know WHY they had (NO HOOD) UDistrict on here--- funny thing i was just there with my wife LAST night 11pm -- LOL after attending an Awards Ceremony on campus.

I lived in Seattle in the mid-80s and hung out at Dicks after the club; it was a friendly place at the time; wow, no drama at all; the college was right up the street along with Starbucks coming through the ranks of popularity, even Seward park area was cool with the real (HYDROS!), and this was just before Sir Mix a lot even though he was known during this time and had some fantastic music!
I live in Seattle and there are NO HOODS. Just a lot of wannabe tough guys.
