En el primero te muestra los unicos dos tornillos en la palanca que tienes que remover para cambiar el tip de plastico suave blanco que se ve brevemente al principio de uno de los videos. El video 2 te muestra como montarla consola, algo que no es necesario desmontar para cambiar esa pieza. El numero de pieza Mitsubishi también está en uno de los videos. Estan si editar, los publiqué para ahorrarles tiempo y dinero. La parte vieja que removí estaba degradada y en pedazos, por eso se atascó la palanca de cambios. Suerte...
Si te fijas en el pomo o el selector de velocidades, cuando desmontas la pieza (pomo) con los 2 tornillos que traen al frente (del carro hacia adentro) tiene en medio un juego de una barra delgada o varilla, esa al pulsarla hace el mecanismo de seguridad para cambiar de marchas (transmisión automática)
Entonces, cuando el mecanismo falla (al presionar el botón de seguridad) y ves que no cambia la selectora o queda atascada y no podes seleccionar P (Parking/Parqueo) y L (Low/1ra velocidad/Lento) entonces es porque la pieza que el video explica es la que reemplaza, es ese capuchón, protector o estuche plástico que se le coloca encima, cuando vuelves armar la selectora, ya funciona correctamente

Busca un espejo, colócalo detrás del pomo para que veas el tornillo, remuévelo con un destornillador de estría si no más recuerdo. Aprovecha y verifica que la pieza que describo esté en buena condición. se degrada con el tiempo. Suerte.
1898PR solo es jalar una vez retirado los tornillos , y volver a meter ya que veo otros carros no dejan que se hunda el botón.

Alba. En resumen no tienes que desmontar todo eso. Si ves los tres cortos videos te explico que no tienes que hacer todo eso. Solo mueve la palanca hacia neutro para que sea más fácil, remueves el tornillo de la parte trasera de la cabeza de la palanca (pasa el dedo y notarás el orificio) levantas la pieza y reemplazas o colocas la nueva.
Si es muy difícil, necesitas un mecánico. Buena suerte.
La pieza va en la punta fina de la palanca, como un dedal.

The videos basically tells you, (watch all 3) how to replace the original mitsubishi part number showed, that when breaks apart the shift stick doesn't move when you try to do it. You have to watch all 3 because you don't have to remove all the console as I did. Just remove the screw on the rear of the shift stick, remove the handle and whatever is left from the part to be replaced, mount the new one and reassembly. Good luck!
