Yes u can , I applied at night and removed it in the morning while brushing my teeth , and don’t worry if u accidentally swallow the wax , it’s non toxic and edible 😅
Try not to swallow too much of it if possible because I heard you can get a digestive blockage if you swallow large clumps of wax. I have a broken temporary crown and this is what my dentist said to put on it until I can get in there in a few days.
I got some at CVS. I called before I went in and the guy said they didn’t have any. I checked online and it said that store had it. I go in and they do. He probably knew nothing about what it even was, because I didn’t until a day ago.
Leave it in until you eat and/or drink (If you dont want to remove it for drinking you could just use a straw so the liquid doesn't hit the wax on your brackets, I do it and it works just fine), and then replace it with new wax. Don't reuse old wax. I think some orthodontists will give you extra wax if you ask for it too, if you run out quickly, but I'm not sure.
Thank you so much! When they said to apply wax, I thought that they meant literal wax! 🤣🤣
Yep me too... Am a beginner with braces nd know nthng about it at all.... Thnks to the creater he helped so much😌❤️

For those who doesn't know what does orthodontic wax do, i think it's to prevent your cheecks inside the mouth form hurting bcuz of the braces

@@monke220yeah, they are non-toxic but its still best to remove them yourself. Good thing since they tend to slowly chip off

I bought wax and I’m currently using twin block braces how do I correctly use the wax to help reduce pain
I recommend putting it on the metal string from the brace so it doesn't irritated the inner part of ur mouth
Bro when I got wax they never told me to take it off when eating💀
Do we have to take out the way while eating or just continue to eat while they're on
@@Neha-it5nd I’d probably just listen to your dentist ngl I’m a bad dental person to ask about stuff with I know nothing about

What's the point of using this wax !??
So your brace didnt hurt your skin?
What to do if accidentally swallowing after drinking water
It is totally fine. Wax is non-toxic and it is edible. It will cause no harm so you have nothing to worry about. I hope this helped!
