Really hot day taking on the 4 Munros on the Ring of Steall route.
Decided to do the route in reverse to the norm as it would leave the boggy section at Steall Falls to the end and the walk back to the car would be downhill from the upper falls car park to the lower falls car park.

Brilliant video Andy👍 think you were right doing it that way get the steep bit oot the way 1st, nice wee bit of fog in the valley, must have been tough in that heat, but what views eh. I found the wee munro top the trickiest bit between munro 3&4 on your route.
Thought you would have taken your bike for a nice cycle back to the car.🚴‍♂️ As always a nice wee soundtrack to accompany the hike.
    Well done again Andy.👍

Thanks Frank, never even thought about taking my bike, lol.🤣The ascent was great as i was in the shade up to the scree at the top.Even the boggy bit was ok at Steall Falls due to the hot weather drying it out a bit.Great day out.😃👍

Nice one Andy! For me the toughest part of the day was the final descent! Good to get that out of the way on your route I think! Leave the falls till the end! I would have been tempted just to jump right in! Good tester for the foot I guess! Cheers mate. Paul

Thanks Paul.Heard about that descent being a killer and so opted to get it out the way first. Was in the shade right up so that helped.Stunning route with fantastic views all around. Was lucky with the bog at the falls as the heat had dried most of it up and missed out the wire bridge as standing on that had the potential to aggravate my bad foot.😃👍

Nice one Andy. Lovely fog filled glen in the morning there, and cracking views all day. I'm planning the same direction you took, get that steep ascent out of the way early, and leave the bog and river crossing until the end, a good tactic. With the advantage of facing Stob Ban all the way along Devils Ridge part too, very pretty hill from that side. How's the foot holding out now, back to full strength? Cheers.👍

Foot done well Andy thanks.Had my escape routes sorted if it got too much but alls good.Had this route planned for a while to avoid the bog till last.🤣🤣
Also the walk from the upper to the lower car park is downhill this way.😃👍
