Join us on our adventure of putting on Utah and Salt Lake City’s very first halo esports event! Meet our host of the vlog, Pookie! as well as the rest of the SSG crew. We started our crazy day of set up with a photoshoot for all of our players. After that we went over to get some decorative walls painted that would be displayed at the event. We ran into Shaun, more commonly known as Shonduras, who also seems to now be in charge of returning lost cameras to their owners even after left recording. (We forgive ya Pookie) We made sure the boys in the warehouse were doing well and getting boxes with SpaceStation and SpaceStation Gaming merch packed up for all of you at the event. Shortly after that out very own and very good friend UberNick arrived to film some good old SSG skits and gags. And of course, we took him out for some fine dining at Red Robin. The night didn’t end there, we still had graffiti to spray, walls to paint and even a little time for some ping pong and Rocket League. The next day was a little more prep at the office but we headed down to SLC to set up the raddest event of all time at The Depot! We spent the day prepping the venue to assure we had the sickest vibes for the sickest LAN you’ve ever seen. We got fliers set up, merch stands assembled and even ran into A for Adley and Niko who were checking out the set up, making sure it was up to their standards too. We had a few more skits to film with our very own SSG Master Chief who got taught some football skills from SSG’s star quarterback Kurt Benkert. So, with confidence we can firmly say that we threw one of the best Halo HCS events of all time! Tune into our follow up video so you can see how the days of the actual event went!
