looks amazing. that crait piece makes it look so nice in display especially with her in a cmbat stands holding her lightsaber with both hands on the crait piece makes it look like a true collectors item. another great review done by YOU

If you want a perfect Rey figure all you have to do is switch the heads and the arms and paint the neck area to match the skin tone of the face if you don't like the cloth on the figure.

To me, I prefer the rubber material over the cloth due to the cloth frading and sometimes certain figures don't look good with cloth material. And yes my Last Jedi Rey does have the cut on her right arm but is not colored. Weird eh?
yeah, she must get it sometime during the movie. it's a cool detail they put in. I prefer the molded rubber material too.
Along with the Luke vid, nice reviews. I finally ordered my DX Rey today as the price had dropped and there was only about $5 difference. Luke I may also get but might see if the price drops a bit first or maybe until after seeing the film - bit disappointed with lack of accessories. But it is Luke......and I like the look of the soft cloak......and the base.......:)

I personally think with how loose the ropes are, the soft goods do not benefit this Figure, However if you were to swap the head and arms and the accessories it would be the perfect Rey

I avoided the regular version of this figure specifically because I thought the likeness was pretty poor. It's definitely much better on this version, although I'm not sure I would pick this exclusive up unless I could get it for a much lower price.
Yeah $35 is a bit high for it, although she looks super super nice.
How do you like her compared to the Force Awakens Black Series Rey figure?
much better as far as paint and sculpt goes. She comes with her gun and lightsaber right off the bat which is nice. And i like her episode 8 costume better than her episode 7 rags. But I think the inclusion of bb8 in the TFA Rey gives her an edge. But actually... so far my favorite Rey is the one who comes with the speeder.
Erg, I see myself buying multiple Reys.
Not a big fan of cloth goods...it looks good...but thats a shame its practically coming apart already. The base I can do without. The likeness is amazing and im liking the goodies she comes with. BUUUUT...gonna have to wait till she is discounted. Great review Mike. - Tony
yeah, i shaved off all the excess fabric and the shedding seems to have calmed down. but it's a huge problem, especially since they dont bother to hem the seems.
That looks like the best likeness to Rey of any Black Series figure to date and while I don't like dioramas (because of the extra space they take up), I might have to get this because the prior Rey figures have let me down with head-sculpts. Good review even with the lack of sexy dude face going on!
PS- Also, I used to use finger nail clippers too when making gundam model kits because of how close they could get with no risk of slicing the plastic.

its an amazing likeness of Rey. If i could take the molded plastic off the other Rey and put on this, you'd have a perfect figure.
Well I guess maybe you could switch heads, and then just paint the red on the wound of the other one.
I can pick this up for ten bucks. Debating whether or not I should. I don’t have a Rey black series.
She’s probably the third best Rey behind the Island Journey and Rise of Skywalker Rey. $10 isn’t a bad price considering you get a neat display

I have a question, Mike. Should I get this exclusive, or the standard edition? I love her face paint job in this one better than the standard, but I'm also scared the soft goods will lose a lot of strings.
i definitely think the Crait Rey is worth it. The soft goods are worth the better face painting

I bought it and took it back 35.00 is not a good price for this i purchased the regular version on amazon fo 13.00
Yeah I feel a little cheated at $30, but I think the actual shelf price point of $35 is bad.

I don't really like the cloth look. I looked at the 3.75" figure of Master Jedi Luke Black series versus the regular one and did not like the cloth look there either.
Yeah. The cloth is really my biggest complaint and problem with these.

Yeah you’re right. It’s just a really good paint job. Which goes to show the sculpts are there. Any problems with the faces are from a bad paint job.

thanks for subbing! it's a tough call, honestly. I keep going back and forth. The likeness, details, and paint apps are amazing. the accessories are good. But the soft good are trash.

I have made it clear I'm not a fan of TLJ. Sorry just being honest. There have been so many Rey figures. Yikes.
That being said the face sculpt looks like Daisy big time. But how many do we need? There was the Rey/Kylo deluxe sets from K-Mart. I got mine on clearance for real cheap. Plus the original, then the original re-released. TFA "Ship" version that was $60. I waited.....$15 on clearance. Now TLJ Rey. Not sure how many there were. And THIS. I myself had 5. I dumped 2. I get she's being pushed and that's ok. But even Vader hasn't had that many releases. So many had to be sold for under $10. What's wrong with this picture? Remember the idea there were too many Star Wars movies and people got Star Wars "fatigue"? This could be happening with the figures. Too many of the same figures too soon. Mike I'm not trying to go against it. Just don't understand why we need so many figures of the same person, with little difference. Why not focus on a different character. Just curious. I hope I didn't offend anyone.

yeah man. we've had some great convos about this between the two of us, but even as a fan of the new trilogy I think we've had enough Reys. I think this is all over compensation from when TFA came out initially and everyone was complaining that Rey was being under represented in toys. Now its like.. ok... thats enough.
@@MikeKaess Well the thing is it does follow a certain pattern. A main character gets a bulk of figures. That being said they are usually different as far as appearance. Luke-tattoine, luke-X-Wing, Luke-Stormtrooper gear. But she seems to be the same clothes with a few variations and accessories. That's one complaint I've heard. Anyway take care. It might be a while before I say hello again. Had a Really bad spell with my health. Was rushed to the hospital on friday and have been here since. 1st time in 36 hours I've felt even able to look at you tube. So again take care, God Bless, and have fun.

Hate it! Not worth the $27 I paid. The fraying of the soft goods ruins the purchase.
i like everything about it excelt the soft goods. They do almost ruin a great figure. i get not liking it.

Star Wars Nerd 2187 that’s fair, I guess. I feel like the opposite. They’re toys. They’re meant to be opened and played with. I want someone to see my collection and say “wow! Cool figures!” And not “wow, cool boxes. Your display looks like a toy store.” Which is usually my first thought when I see someone’s display and everything is in boxes. But then again, I don’t collect for value or with the purpose of reselling. I collect because I like something and want to own it.
yes, i agree, but just a few days ago, i decided that i might only open the toys that i have if they are duplicates, so i can have one opened, and one in the box. right now, i only have two of the rey and bb8 black series figure, so i might be opening that one. but that's the thing, MIGHT.

Like that the black series boxes are boxes instead of blisters. I have all the boxes for every figure saved in bins in my garage. If I do ever want to sell them or something, I can still have them in their original box.
