- Take a drive across the Nogales Mariposa crossing into Mexico and back again into the USA. This is an excellent border crossing for RV's entering and exiting Mexico. See the full instructions and maps here - crossbordercov...

I stopped at the first toll booth and returned to the USA. If you continue south to KM21, a Banjercito is present for your FMM and Temporary Import Permit. You can also return those documents on the way north at the same location.
You will see that I stayed left for the toll road rather than entering into Nogales Centro. If you only want to visit the city, stay right and stop at the inspection point and Aduana immediately after crossing through the border gates.
The return trip was smooth with a quick dog lap around the vehicle. Otherwise, no stops or secondary searches were done.
Great video, I think it is really interesting to see how laid back the US-Mexico border points seem to be compared to European border points like the Kapitan Andreevo one between turkey and Bulgaria.
That's interesting. I haven't done those European borders. Ours are different everytime. I've been searched a bunch but sometimes they just flag you through.
Great info , I’m driving down to Mexico with my boat 🛥️ 22” trailer I hope there is room in the small lanes for me to travel . I’m kind of nervous 😬
@@leslieb3180 the lanes are pretty spacious at Mariposa. I think you'll have plenty of room.
@@crossbordercoverage my destination will be Nayarit and I’m taking the safe road that is Quota right ! It’s a 24hr drive . Thank you for the info
Can you get the TIP and FMM at the Border ?
Very informative & great content.
Is it possible to take my boat to Mexico 🇲🇽 I’ve never done it it will be the first time .
It is! You need liability insurance for the boat and you need to get a TIP for it at the border as well.

@@crossbordercoverage I have the permits on hand already , and the FMM for traveling by road
@@crossbordercoverage I got a 10 year permit .
So do you think I’m good to go ?
Can i pass from Mexico to USA without passport, i have my California id ?
It's certainly a risk. A passport is ideal but you might get lucky. If it were me, I'd make sure to have a passport ready.
