As a older Mugler fanboy i really hope this brand can make a comeback. Mugler got me into fragrances and will always hold a special place in my heart.
Imagine you walk into a Sephora and you see a big cardboard sign with an ad on it and it says "It's Been Awhile..." and theres a photo of Pure Malt, Pure Havane, Ultrazest standing in a row. That would blow peoples minds. They should do that.

Often some ingredients or oils used in some original fragrances are not available anymore or the législations prevent them to be commercialy used.
❤ I rely on gents scents opinions on things and I specially love when he’ll say what fragrances he loves and why so it kind of gives you a idea of where he’s coming from so when you hear his analysis, you can relate to it

Original formulation of Amen used to last literally weeks and was so complex, one of the most alluring scents but it started to get reformulated since 2009
I haven’t been this excited for a fragrance in a while! Excited to smell it for myself.
Tone that excitement down to 50% is nothing spectacular
to me it's great, i don't even know how to describe it, citrusy,sweet,rich and maybe smells a little like pudding??

I haven’t even sprayed this yet and I can smell it throughout my basement as it sits in a sample bottle still inside the package it came in. I checked and it’s not leaking, just very strong
It's a great scent. Dry down is heavenly.
I just started collecting recently so I missed out on Mugler A*MEN line but I love that they revived the line with a new flanker. Its great that Mugler acknowledges the demand for the A*MEN line from the fragrance community. Kinda feels like were going back in time and its super cool. I hope it sells well so Mugler will give us more for the A*MEN line 👍

Excited for this even though I'm not a fan of chocolate fragrances..The AMEN line is/was truly the best of the best and the GODFATHER of masculine gourmand beast fragrances. I hope more releases follow & they offer something really unique and amazing.

This is one of the fragrances I am excited and looking forward to, like I said before I started my collecting after the amens started getting discontinued so I didn't get a chance to get any of the flankers but I at least have the OG that started it all and as soon as this one is available here in the US I'm going to grab it and my scent of the day is Paco rabanne pure xs
It's a very subtle patchouli, lavender, and leather scent.

Sounds like An Absolute BANGER! SO GLAD MUGLER A*MEN IS BACK! Can they have a one last go around and make a Green Fragrance Flanker for Alien Man 👾👽💚, I think the bottle would look perfect and the Scent woukd become a YUUUGE HIT!
How does this one compare to LMLP? I believe both are winter time fragrances with a sweet+spicy note breakdown. How do the two rank in your opinion?
This was not made with fans of the original A*Men line in mind. This is sugary sweet modern perfumery at its worst or finest depending on your stance.

Bought mine from eBay, it smells gorgeous and the performance is beast mode. Modern EDP take on the OG. Hope they continue spawning more of these
Hey Ash, The newer bottles with only mugler on it can be opened from the top if you pull the upper side of it. and the batch code is on the bottle inside. Just letting you know 👊

What does it smell like, how does it perform, and maybe a quick view of the presentation. These videos are getting laughably long for no other reason than ads, and he’s not the only reviewer whose videos just keep getting more and more long winded. 15min video to cover the maybe 1-2min of details most people are going to care about.
Yah sound like whining babies. Having a channel about fragrances must be incredibly difficult. This market is so niche if you don’t like how he does his videos go watch someone else

Original AMen was one of the fragrances that I got because I wanted something different. Granted this was 15 years ago. I did not really like the opening when I first started wearing it, but then once it dries down it has a lot of gourmand aspects that I love. Eventually I came to love the opening as much or even more than the dry down. It’s to this day one of my favorite cold weather fragrances.
This isn’t the only fragrance thats changed. I didn’t care for Fahrenheit the first few times I wore it. Encre Noir, Gucci by Gucci, The One EDT, are others that come to mind that grew on me the more I wore them. Certain notes or aspects grow on me and eventually I miss those notes and fragrances in general.
Ash you have to pull the top off the flask, the glass bottle inside has the batch code printed on it - its also replaceable 👌

Nothing divisive about the dry down of the original A *Men....its extremely pleasant and a compliment beast...particularly because of how delicious and different it is. A classic masterpiece for a reason.
I love the original Amen. One of my all time favorites. Clearly Mugler isn’t concerned with making money. If they were, they’d release all the ones they’ve discontinued over the last 20 years
Mugler is owned by L'Oréal now.
The L'Oréal version of Amen is really creamy soap-bar like, tar and patchouli and cocoa not as heavy. It's nice but def not the same.
Pure Tonka was actually my favorite out of the Amen flankers

I have Ultra zest and Ultimate, I had pure havana now is impossible to get.
I remember Mugler. I remember stupidly selling Ultra Zest, Pure Havane, Pure Tonka and the gold bottle Amen I found BNIB two years ago.
I still have my bottle of Angel Men from the early 2000s.
Smelled a decant of it last week. Not impressed imho. Not terrible but nothing to write home about for me at least.

I've loved the old school A*Men flankers for years, but man that bottle design is an obstacle. Not even how it looks - decent looking, but wow it is obnoxious to use. I never tested my exacto skills in the event I wanted to resell those bottles, but I think I'm going to keep them all so time to deface those bottles and see what it's like to fully use those atomizers 😆

I much prefer these detailed and thorough videos on single perfumes over those top 10 lists. Those top 10 list videos are okay to watch, but they can get really old very quickly.
