As a Korean who frickin loves your channel - you're saying "Buldak" on point ❤❤❤ "bool-dahk" 잘했어요! Also wish I had extra sauces laying around for that 😭 Doenjang is best for soup/broth/stew! Common ingredients to add: squash/zucchini, mushrooms (enoki being my personal fave), tofu. It's like stronger miso!

Hellmann's is the best vegan mayo I've been able to find anywhere. I can't even tell the difference between the regular and plant based, my partner and I started using plant based while we were still finishing a jar of the regular and didn't know the difference at all. Before we went vegan, Duke's was our fave. It would be awesome if they came out with a plant based version.

Ooo you could try saving some of the pasta water next time, will help when you add them into the pesto sauce! As for the frozen fruit cubes, you could add them to baked dishes, pastries, oatmeal, melt them down and use the fruit puree to make mocha with glutinous rice powder. With the pesto's, I've been making pesto plates where i spread it on a plate with the back of a spoon and use different raw/roasted veggies to lay on top (roasted butter beans and leeks) and a good bread to swipe everything into my mouth orrrrr any sort of puff pastry with a pesto base/ filling with other ingredients.
Ps. Omg just realised the buldak bottle comment was mine! I was sitting here applauding the commenter like "Great minds think alike"

Ok I use balsamic glaze all the time. It goes in every Asian sauce I make for cooking tofu or those fake chicken or pork meat piece things?? in etc (my go to sauce is balsamic, soy, mushroom sauce, maple or brown sugar (or both cause the brown sugar gets all syrupy), worcestershire sauce, sweet chilli, maybe sriracha, a little olive oil and garlic). My fave meal to use it in is mix tofu with the sauce, bake it until crispy and then with leftover sauce you heat it in a pan and add cornstarch until it's thick, add the tofu in and then you have extra sauce and I put that on rice with buttered carrot ribbons and spinach and rocket (arugula) and all the toppings you want. If there's any leftover tofu and sauce, add it to a ramen bowl the next day. So good
Also really good if you make a homemade ramen sauce. I also put it on avocado toast if I don't feel like hot sauce. And I never use regular vinegar for salads anymore, I use balsamic. It's so good in loads of things 😊 you can even add it to a tomato pasta sauce or chilli for an extra smth smth

Little tip! I use my immersion blender (with the blades) to make whipped cream, and it works just like a hand mixer! Idk if it works the same for a vegan recipe, but with cream and powdered sugar it whips it right up as long as I’m making an up and down motion to get air on there.

Emily, let me tell you of an absolutely delicious way to use condensed coconut milk. It’s a dessert from Lithuania that we call “the lazy one” because it is so simple to make. It’s not originally vegan, but it’s quite easy to veganize. You’d need:
400 grams of biscuits (your basic dry biscuits that don’t crumble too too much. Something like biscoff lotus biscuits or maybe graham crackers, but the latter I’m guessing as I’ve never tried those)
1 can or 400g of coconut condensed milk
200 grams of salted vegan butter (not spreadable margarine! The butter that comes in a block, wrapped in paper or foil-y wrapping. think traditional dairy butter vibes, otherwise the consistency will be off. Something like Flora vegan butter.)
5 tbsp good coco powder (or more)
+ optional handful of chopped pistachios
    1. Break apart the cookies into small chunks, about the size of a fingernail. Don’t worry if some pieces are smaller, it’s gonna happen in the process.
    2. In a separate pot on medium heat, melt the butter. Pour the condensed milk into it, and mix well. Add the coco powder, stir constantly until well incorporated and no dry bits remain.
    3. Pour the coco mass on the crushed biscuits and mix to coat, so that the biscuits are more or less equally coated. Add pistachio at this stage if using. Let it cool as but so it’s not too hot to handle.
    4. Pour the mass onto a plastic wrap and form a sort of cylindrical or sausage looking thing. I wanna say use 5 ish tablespoons of the mass per “sausage”. Wrap it tightly in the plastic wrap, and place in the fridge overnight. Next morning, take it out, slice and enjoy!
It is a ugly looking dessert but it tastes incredible. I hope you get to try it. Much love! ☀️🌱
