Another beautiful game ! I believe that the fanatics rule does let the squad ignore the morale check from the flamethrower. Mike
We used to play this mission in 40k 20 years ago. It was called “the running and the screaming”. It was hard sometimes for the imperial citizens to decide whether they wanted to be rescued by tyranids or death guard.
😄 that would be a tough choice 😅
@@tabletopcpwould it be tho? At least the nids don't want your soul lol
Great content! Thanks!
great videos keep it up.
Out of everything I got for my Japanese the SS-Ki engineering vehicle and Type 98 320mm spigot mortar are probably my most feared and aggravating weapons I own for them. The SS=Ki is just a total never ending flamethrower as you can take 4 for it so the possibility of running out of fuel is almost impossible for it. Then the spigot mortar is just brutal as it only has a +1 pen value with a 4" template but it has the ability of dishing out a maximum of 8 pins if it does hit as you roll a D6 for pins but add two so a minimum of 3 up to 8 maximum. So you can pretty much pin a unit out on a single hit with it, and since it takes the artillery slot you can't just sniper it away like all the other mortars in the game, and with a 5 man crew it can pretty much last all game unless another HE enemy asset gets a hit. My SNLF has quickly become my second favorite nation behind my Soviets.
Oh and the type 97 tanks can fire both the main gun and rear turret MG at the same turn if they have targets in their 45 degree angles. The type 95 Ha Go's can't because of the one man turret rule.
Y’all got me into bolt action, great video as always
Same here! Just ordered my first army :)
Another great battle report guys, well done 👍
Great game really enjoyed it cheers👍👍🤠🤠
another great show thank you😄
Good game, very entertaining
Was just hoping y’all would do another pacific game! Love it!
Very nice battlereport.
At the end, that third center objective that the banzai approached, wouldn't that be captured by the Japanese when the squad that momentarily held it died in the melee?
Honestly I cannot remember.
Have you ever considered doing any Bolt Action Tank Wars? I’m planning on using the Team Yankee starter set to make a 15mm US vs Soviets tank war force. I like the Team Yankee stuff but I’m not a fan of the rules so I think it’s perfect to be the base for Bolt Action Cold War in 15mm.
We have played a hand full of tank war games. Not much different just more tanks and transports for all non motorized units.
Where do you have the small orange pinkers from :)
Small orange pinkers?
What size table is this played on? The terrain and models are amazing
Thanks! It’s a standard 6x4’ table.
Sorry Travis, but could you run out of the jungle to meet the militia in close combat? I thought you can only advance out of dense terrain.
If you are lined up in the edge you can run out
"special naval landing troops": Japanese Marines
Yes but that's not what they were called
its a translation from the japanese, maybe a bad one do you have the japaniese?@@talaananthes
