    Just bought Vespa Primavera 125 grey materia. Its super fun, and also very charming scooter. But also, I think, for year or two I must replaced him for gts 300, despite primavera is more “vespa” than gts for me.
    Thank you for videos.

      Very nice review, covering the bike itself just fine. Love those wheels and that burgundy or whatever color. But I would love to have a dealer service guy take one out and explain the nuances of getting the most out of those 150cc's. This size is a fine city or back road runner, but on suburban major roads with commuter time traffic, there is some "art" to knowing what to do, what not to try.
      I lived in Portland many years ago...a great motoring place - from Portland to the coast , from Portland to Eugene, and to Seattle, on my 250cc in the 70s.

      Just twist the throttle and go. Top speed is 68. It’s freeway capable for short distances but we’ve had a few customers ride the same scooter from Portland to San Diego and back on a mix of country roads and I-5. No issues.

    Thanx and greetings from Moscow, Russia. The presentation's so very pleasant.
    It's my 10 season, some of the two-wheels have passed through, for the motorcycles I had two Kawasakis and currently I'm on a BMW F800R, a great bike for a city and around riding it is. And for the shorter rides and late-autumn/early-spring colder weather I'm also in love with the scooters, already had a Honda Giorno and now I'm on a Taiwan SYM Orbit. Yesterday I have reserved a new Vespa Sprint 150 Sport and I'm so very excited about it like it is gonna be my first bike ever. Squeezing the youtube for the vespas and waiting for the damn covid to get away from the planet. :)

    What year did they begin using 12" wheels on the Primavera? The small frame 50cc & 150cc originally had the tiny 10" wheels, then the oddly sized 11" wheels. I much prefer the newer, larger 12" wheels that are on my GTS 300. I've been thinking about buying the 150 for around town & most likely won't be buying a brand new scooter but I also don't want to waste my time looking at older models with the smaller wheels. Thanks for any help on this matter.

    • @VespaPortland
      @VespaPortland  Před 6 měsíci

      2019 if I remember correctly. Glad they were standardized. Just check the tire if you see a scooter. There will be 3 numbers like 120/70-11 or 120/70-12. That final number tells the tale.

      Sorry for the late response. You’d probably be better off with a Vespa GTS that has two shocks but the weight rating on the 150cc Vespas is something like 750lbs so technically yes. Set the shock to the hardest setting for sure and check that the turn signal/brake light wiring is up and away from the rear fender.

    • @VespaPortland
