"RollerCoaster Tycoon is a construction and management simulation video game centered around amusement park management. Developed by MicroProse and Chris Sawyer and published by Hasbro Interactive, the game was released for Microsoft Windows on March 31, 1999 and was later ported to the Xbox game console. It is the first game in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series and is followed by two additional PC installments and a Nintendo 3DS title. A mobile title and a fourth PC installment will be released in 2014.
RollerCoaster Tycoon has received two expansion packs: Corkscrew Follies in 1999, and Loopy Landscapes in 2000. Two special editions were released: RollerCoaster Tycoon Gold in 2002, which contained the original game, Corkscrew Follies, and Loopy Landscapes; and RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe in 2003, which contained the content in Gold plus more designs for the different customizable rollercoasters."

I love this game so much - so many memories, so much nostalgia. The funniest thing to me was you could charge nearly $10 in certain parks and STILL get the "Best Value Park in the Country" award. Like seriously? What are the other parks in RCT land charging? lol :P

TehNevs Did you know you can buy more land? Forest Frontiers has a LOT of land for sale, so you can expand it if you need to.

It's always a good idea to limit your employees' work area to increase response time to broken rides, waste cleaning, etc. You don't want all of your mechanics wandering around the park entrance when your big coaster is the back of the park breaks down.

One time on a roller coaster, I thought that my restraint hadn't locked. I literally thought that I was going to die for the 15 seconds it took my panicked mind to realized that I hadn't flown off yet so probably wasn't going to.

+maximum988 On most, if not all, roller coasters, g-forces will keep you in your seat. Restraints are only there if the train gets stuck or goes too slowly. IE restraints are only needed if something bad happens.

the ride you've never seen before looks very similar to the Primeval whirl that's in Disney world Florida's animal kingdom park.

***** I could understand somebody getting thrown out of one of the cars. sometimes it can spin pretty violently depending on the passenger load weight distribution.

Mine-cart coasters! They are also popular with large travelling carnavals. Anyway, I've been on plenty. They go super fast, the 'scary' parts are the turns. It feels like you run of the track but at the last moment you make a sharp turn.

29:22 - I never been on a wild mouse rollercoaster before (well, I could have gone on when I was at Michigan's Adventure but I decided not to but my cousin's been on one) but CZcamsrs like CoasterForce and ThemeParkReviews have posted lots of videos of the wild mouse and they almost look all the same (with the zig-zags)

In Colorado they have a park called Lakeside where they have a ride called wild chipmunk, you can google it, its like your top mouses coaster. IT IS AWFUL!! you feel like you might just die on the thing and i sure someone must have gotten injured on it by now, you get so many bruises after it but its worth it if you want to fear for your life and also have fun.

Gog.com has the game for 3$, and it's the only version that is native windows 7 and 8 compatible. It's still a little awkward to record but it runs great otherwise!
