I had the moto G stylus (2020) for nearly 4 years before I finally dropped it one too many times and needed a replacement. This probably isn't the best phone I could have gotten for the price tag, but I was in a pinch and Best Buy had it. I don't game on my phone and I'm not much of a shutterbug, usually I just snap pics to remember critical information. Ironically the most use I get out of my phone is with the screen off, whether it's listening to stuff, making calls, or using the nifty chop-flashlight feature, so this phone suits my needs just fine. One OS upgrade is pretty bad, and I don't see myself using this phone for as long as I did my last one, but I'll hold on for a couple years while watching the AI tech in phones mature. My next phone will definitely be a flagship, I've fasted long enough with budget phones to feel entitled to a little splurging.
Because I'm on disability sadly I'll never get to have a flagship but I'm upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy A54 5g. Through cricket for 59.99 . I'm happy id love the Samsung Galaxy s24 ECT but I'll never be able to afford it

As far as multitasking goes, how well does it do? If Motorola had put an OLED display on this, I do believe it would’ve been the complete package for a budget phone. Mediatek Dimensity processors are getting really good and the 1050 in the Edge 2022(non plus model) was good at handling anything. That 1050 would keep up with the iPhone 11 to put it into context which is good for an Android device. But the Edge 2022 had a very vibrant pOLED display and the only upgrade on the G Power 24 is Android 14 out of the box. This phone is very tempting because I believe even without an OLED display, it probably still has better performance than most of the Samsung A series phones.
I can't wait to buy it but I'm a wait till May 19 for my upgrade discount... better than paying full price
I was waiting on the Samsung A35 just to get the bigger screen since it's basically an A54..I bought the Moto Razr 2023 instead and I am surprised at the build quality of Motorola.

So I am a Motorola girl I am currently using a Moto g 5g stylus 2022 but I want to upgrade. I am interested in this I don't play video games but I am a super heavy user. However I am very intrigued with the Nord N30 5g
Can you help? Are the speakers better on the Moto G Power 2024? Is the display as good or better on the Moto G Power 2024 than the G Stylus 5g 2022? Is the processor better than the Snapdragon 695 5g?
Any help would be appreciated
I have both phones and the moto g power wins in my book you have ip52 rating on it unlike nothing at all on the n30 the dimensity 7020 is more powerful than the snapdragon 695 the cameras are so much better than the n30 and the speakers are the same
The fingerprint sensor on the Moto G Power 2024 is super fast and reliable. And hardly lags, thanks to the dimensity 7020.
I miss having the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone like my Stylus 5G 2021 (XT2131-4) It was in the perfect spot but Motorola decided to save cost and combine it with the power button on newer phones, Ive had the Power 2024 for a few weeks and still hate this change but the phone has been great otherwise.
This or the Samsung Galaxy A35?
I can't do Budget phones that aren't Samsung or LG (Before their Phone dept. Gave up)... Motorola when it comes to Budget phones, really just feel too under powered... Now. I'll take their Edge+ over the S2x Ultra any day.

im no.1 moto g series and i know all g series im pass this one because no charger, overpriced and 1 year android update and 2 years security update if you buy this your phone is outdated quick a year atlist now phone is android 14 so you get only android 15 then, and that is. i buy samsung a15 5g $199 or less super amoled and Offered with up to 4 generations of OS upgrades and 5 years of security maintenance, your Galaxy A15 5G stays up-to-date for longer. wow! you can get 15, 16, 17 and 18 if you plan to keep your phone longer, this is bang for your bucks and the whole family for budget phone and budget tight family.

I took back the 2023 model; hate using side fingerprint reader. Reactivated my old stylus
It sucks because Moto doesn't do the back fingrerprint reader anymore but it was far superior to this newer side reader.

10 reason to buy and one reason not to. And the one reason not to is because it is MOTO. They never do updates on their OS.
But, is that a reason not to? I've had more failures from updates than improvements. Not sure if I should consider that even

I got this phone last week with cricket they offering it for FREE yes completely FREE if u transfer your number form another carrier. I brought my number from T-Mobile and got this phone free..I had a Samsung s23 . And HONESTLY this phone ain't bad at all . I never play phones on any of my phones if I didn't do it on the s23 which was totally capable of running heavy intense games I'm not gonna do it on this phone. Anyways like I said this moto works perfectly fine for everything else I can have multiple apps open at the same time Whatsapp, Tik Tok, Instagram and playing Google music in the background and no lag at all. Honestly I can't complain phone works great and I got for free with cricket it can't get better than that .
