Accidental discharge
I often having a hard time changing the magazine in cold 🥶 weather. It’s like I can’t reach the mag release. I tried so hard and didn’t realize my finger is on the trigger 😫

I really respect that you voluntarily posted this video. Thank you. 👍 There is more learning to be gained from seeing these kinds of errors in real time than watching another awesome run.
You are so welcome!
Agreed
My first ever DQ happened at my first match of this year as well, and unfortunately on the first stage. Transition between targets ND. I know the exact feeling you had!
Thank you for posting your match. To me the most important takeaway is that you learn from your mistakes. Things happen even for the best shooters. Good luck in the future.
Dude, it’s okay.
As they say it is not a matter of if but when you'll get your first DQ. These things happen it is just a part of the sport and the push for speed makes it happen. The good news is it's a learning experience and you can only get better from here. Great shooting otherwise, keep up the fantastic work!
Brother if you play the game long enough... it's not if but when. #respect
At least you got it out of your system early for the year. 👍🏻
Good shooting man, DQ can happen to everyone 🎯
That is extremely easy to do. Good shooting!
I get that you’re frustrated about dq, but pitching fit seems like a poor way to handle the frustration
Way to get it out early. No where to go but up!
That was a happy finger….oh well
In the heat of the moment things happen. Besides the ND you look fast!
on the second stage of this video why is someone in the gallery repeatedly saying STOP?
Aghh damn that sucks!
Come to us to IPSC Shotgun :) We have quadload reloading in cold weather :) Much more fun than handgun reloading in cold weather!
Been there
i share your frustration brother....
Aaaaaah. Feel for you, shake it off. Amazing shooting up to then.
There are two types of people; Those who have been DQ'd, and those who will be DQ'd.
太急了
Hey.. It happens, everyone has a DQ in them just waiting to happen.. Thanks for posting 👍
So does having your finger on the trigger help you change mags? 😎
hi my friend, if you look closely at your video then already in the sequence from 0:35-0:42 you have your finger very close to the trigger when you change the magazine. it looks like that? you have to work on maintaining calmness and focus throughout the match. Good luck in the future!
in Sweden you would probably have been DQ already there at 0:35. But it's a part of the sport that just has to be accepted. just keep working hard!
Thank you!
I was wondering how you got DQ'ED. Sorry you had a bad day, dude.
Accidental discharge 😀
Bummer
🫵🥴
What happened technically? Yes I see a unwanted shot while running, however what was the root cause of it? A gun with dangerous trigger that fire on bump or finger on trigger while running? It can happen, I really respect this situation but for me a better description would make the video even more useful for learning. Anyway good luck next time.

i dq'd there last year lol!
OA
😂🤣
At first I thought you were taking a SHO shot at that partial hardcover, which is legal, but would incur a foot fault per shot penalty because you were out of bounds and SA.
At my range that guy would have got DQ at 0:05 (pointing the muzzle above the berm at reload
Maybe your range should read the rule book.
@@chriss7991 It's probably a range rule. USPSA sometimes allows range masters to enforce their own local range rules as if they're USPSA rules.
@@KittitasCountyTradingCo Sometimes? If you don't know the answer, maybe you should be silent. Define sometimes.
@@chriss7991 Sometimes means that it's dependent on the range rule. For example, Paul Bunyan range in Puyallup, WA has a local range rule that your muzzle can't be pointed above the berm when conducting a reload. This is not a USPSA rule in the rule book but USPSA allows it to be enforced like one at discretion of the range master. Hence why you can get DQ'd at some of these local level 1 events for rules that aren't in the rule book.
@@KittitasCountyTradingCo rule 3.3
At 0:23 is a DQ already
180 rule right?
@@LongNguyen-qg8yj No. Finger in the trigger guard while not aiming/engaging the target
@@Letuch I thought since he can see the target technically he can have his finger on the trigger. He could’ve shot at that target strong hand only while swinging the gate. Right or wrong?
@@Barnes828 Wrong. He's moving to open black curtain with finger on the trigger and he's not aiming/actively engaging target even behind that curtain but the one to the right _after_ curtain has been opened. In IPSC that's a DQ.
@@Letuch Please state the exact rule number
Chinese fail!😑
