- FTB Stoneblock 3 | Mechanical Crafting + Crushing Wheel Automation! | E03 | 1.18.2 Modpack
We continue the brand new modpack called FTB Stoneblock 3! In the Stoneblock 3 pack you start in a stone world, with rings of dungeons around! We continue our journey in Stoneblock 3 by getting washing soul sand to get quartz. From there we can polish it and make mechanical crafters so that we can make a couple of crushing wheels and upgrade our automation!

About the modpack:
StoneBlock 3 is here and there's more action and adventure waiting for you than ever before! In a world of rock and stone, release your inner dwarf and build your subterranean kingdom! Use magic and technology to forge your realm to your designs. Make your dimension your own, or play with friends. Featuring a free-form sandbox-style play with lots of quests and goals to guide you through the pack. With scripted events and interactions for players to explore along their adventure, you know every experience will be unique. With StoneBlock's unique map generation the world and its biomes are created in concentric circles around your base meaning adventures to the nether or end are never more than a pickaxe (or 20) away! - Hry
Thank you for showing me how the sandpapering works. I've been stuck on it for a while now. It's the strangest craft I've ever seen.
Yeah, it's a bit janky
If you move the chutes closer to the wheels it works the same way and there are no floating blocks.
I'm totally good with the floating blocks
yeah i like the chutes. i think if you have the goggles, you can see what item is currently still in the chute waiting to drop out the bottom. and for an automated or semi-automated long term solution, i like that it does groups of 16 instead of just 1. less time wasted between drops. it may only be half a second or even a quarter second, but over days and days it really adds up.
Still a fair bit of crying, there... 😀
Also, crook sand to get kelp, bamboo, and sugarcane.
So many tears
Hello 👋
Pipez pipes can be set with almost any other wrench except for the refined storage one. Like the AE crystal wrench works on them for instance.
The pack changes t so you can only use the ppez wrench
Apparently not in this pack :(
@@ectorvynk Hmm, I know I saw systemcollapse use the ae wrench in this pack so they must have changed it in an update.
If you want faster crushing, increase the speed (using cogwheels) ... but it also increase stress.
You should probably make the Engineer's Goggles and wrench from Create.
Also a golden rule: craft more than one component/part, it saves time and it's more efficent.
Yeah the goggles will probably be used at some point
fyi the engineer's hammer works as a wrench on pipes bit late now but
Nice :)
3:38 well there's an easy solution for that: just make the create goggles. they go in the head bauble slot and give you a pop up notice when you look at things, like the overstressed notice you just saw. you can see how much stress a machine is making, like the water wheel, and you can see how much stress a machine is using, like the rolling mill.
also, you can easily get the maximum stress out of a water wheel (i.e., have water flowing on all four sides) by laying them flat on the floor. just put a block in one corner, then set down a water source next to the block and it'll flow all the way around the wheel, giving you the full 320 stress units (assuming you set it to flow in the appropriate direction). and you can turn the rotational axis horizontal with two large cogs. so even without soul sand, you can extract maximum power from the water wheel.
28:01 unlike many things in minecraft where the randomness is normalized, i think the wandering trader must be truly random. because i've had worlds where he goes back and forth between not showing up for ages, then getting one seemingly every other day.
I got by without them so far!
good work on the crushing wheel, its not rudimentary, its a crushing wheel, it supposed to be rough looking hehehe. for the basic resources already into osmium I would agree with the lower mid-game grind! Awsome work and thank you for your awesome input, as for the sound, I am thinking it maybe either the millstone or the shafts turning.
Thanks :)
You can make the create googles to see how much stress something consumes/produces
Create is a great replacement for the ex nihilo stuff. I also enjoy the new "budding" resource generation, quite unique!
Yeah, I need to look into that!
@@ectorvynk I haven't automated it yet. Was thinking of using ahnihilation planes from AE to mine them. seperate network for it. As far as I know you can put 2 of those ahnihilators on 1 blockspace, so no sides will get lost (of the budding thing). If that makes sense :p
You should be able to crush copper and Zink to dust and combine it together its a lot faster than using the aloy kilm
For that sound - turn on subtitles to see what it is. (-;
Some of the create noises are the minecraft minecart noises.
Ooh, that's a good tip
yup, guess who got caught out with the auto hammer buffers... not a pretty sight..and I'm spending way too much time in dungeons, just to avoid create😆
A worthy cause!
It took me 32 eggs till i got my first chicken..... i shoulda just used them as i got em lol.
Ouch, that's unlucky
The bronze funnle can drop a stack at a time
Also you should put the chest right on the funnel
Also you should try to make a steam engine
The create version
also you can get kelp from crooking sand and a few other things
Bit early for that I think
I like create, but I really dislike the mechanical crafter. Probably because I can’t read and make 21 if everything… every time 😂
Ouch but yeah
