No, it's an intentional joke. "What If Zelda Was a Girl" is funnier. It's the meme where people think that Link=Zelda because the name of the game is Zelda but in the 8-bit NES classic you don't see much of Zelda until the very end; you mostly only see Link. I don't know if people actually make this mistake in real life (I think as a 6-year-old I briefly made the mistake for a few minutes until my Dad corrected me; I also briefly thought that Samus was named "Metroid" lol). The title invokes the meme, pretending to think that Link is named "Zelda", which makes it funny.
It's also doubly funny because Zelda is _already_ a girl 😂
