eh, the voice acting for link could've used some more work. it didn't sound very natural at some points. in that one part, it sounded like there was a frog in his throat. i know pollen season is affecting all of us, but jeez, that needed a retake

Fun little fact, given that Links only words are ever "Hyeh! Hiya! Aha!" There is just one voice actor to do every language. Also why the hell is Zelda THE ONLY BRITISH PERSON IN ALL OF HYRULE. NOT EVEN HER DAD HAD THE ACCENT.

The fact that sheikah shrines are gone in TotK makes Zelda's line "the shrine will still be there when we get back" so much more hilarious

@@JonasRosado That one makes sense though. The games are called "The Legend of Zelda" not "The Legend of Link" and as such people expect the title to be the name of the main character you play. It's like calling the "Super Mario Bros" games as "Super Peach".

Dear ColaBear, the animation and voices really are incredibly irreplaceable here! The way Malon called Link „Zelda“ for example was such a well timed moment, as they both haven‘t been in commission for such an incredibly long time! My favorite parts were also: 4:04 , 5:13 and 5:54 but as already said, everything is beautiful here!
You need to make more of this stuff it's amazing!
This was absolutely fantastic. Makes me wish we had a Zelda cartoon every weekend. My one year-old daughter was glued to the TV. Fantastic job. Hopefully there are more like this in the future.
Majorlink here on youtube has about as close as one can get to a Zelda cartoon though it's about what happened to the Hero of Time Link after Majora's Mask and before Twilight Princess games not really for kids though as its basically telling the story of how the Hero of Time ultimately met his end and became the Hero's Shade

I feel like I'm watching some forbidden 3D Zelda Netflix pitch-deck.
I'm awestruck at the quality of not only the animation but the rhythm and flow, setup/ payoff of jokes, and the sound design elevating the whole thing.
That was honestly an absolutely amazing animation!! The humor was very fitting, especially with the whole thing of Link being called "Zelda"; the characters were in-character; and the soundtrack was just right for each scene and interaction!!
This is so good that it feels like a real series licensed by Nintendo

Link's voice actor gave me CHILLS! His gasps and grunts conveyed so much deep emotion that had been sorely lacking in just about every Zelda game since the masterpiece that is the CDi legacy Zelda universe. His voice was like butter! And, when he held up a sign, and then I chose to read it... I felt that. 10/10 voice acting 🙌😃❤️

This was so special. I would adore a whole series of these. What I love about it is it uses the BotW style animation but is still true to the characters and world building in a way that is charming and meaningful

I noticed your name is a western character's name written in katakana, quick tip for writing hard r endings in katakana is that it's almost always replaced with a long ア sound, so for example, "terror" might be written as "テラー", "bear" would be "ベアー", and of course "dreamer" would be "ドリーマー"

I’ve ignored this video for months, I don’t regret watching it now. The animation is so much better than I anticipated.
The subtle hints at how player’s play and how beginner’s view the game and all the gameplay jabs was so spot on haha
Everything about this is absolutely perfect, I burst out laughing throughout and I love the animation! This is exactly what I would want for a slice-of-life Zelda cartoon.
