Many years ago a Man called Mark Evans made 10 thirty minute videos about his trip taking a dead MGB from a scrap yard and completely re-building it.After the first episode it was compulsive viewing. He approached the Discovery Channel and the series was so popular that he made several further series, rebuilding an E type Jaguar, a motorcycle, a racing car, a helicopter and an airplane among other things. You have as much personality and skill as he has and I really feel that you should try and approach your local TV station or Discovery again and propose something similar because what you show each week deserves to reach a wider audience. I am now resorting to buying extra large bags of popcorn getting ready for Gretel.

I am honered you put me in the Same catagory as Mark Even, I have watch all the "is born" series and I have to say they where very well produced and a joy to watch. Maybe some day we can produce somthing simlar here but with the freadom of youtube to put our own stamp on it 👍👍👍

@@williamowen2203 He did a helicopter, an airplane, a motocycle and many cars. He also did a miniseries where he traveled around Britain visiting people who were doing their own restorations and who had stopped because of various problems and he helped them finish the job. A very talented man who got his big break because as a vet he did not agree with the advice a BBC vet program was giving and when they invited him on to defend himself he was so eloquent that they made him their spokesman.

The best demonstration and set-up of a mini clutch I have ever seen. I don't know how many times I have changed a mini clutch to find the awkward bolt missing. Superglue was a good idea, I often got away with putting a small rubber hose over the top of the bolt. I doubt many go to the. trouble you do; nice to know what separates the best. Again I say, the video is excellent, clear and helpful, nothing hidden. Great as usual; this should be on the curriculum.

I baulked at changing my verto clutch with the engine in, took me days of work mind, but won in the end! Also gave me a chance to sort the oil leaks, fit new water pump and timing chain etc, and clean, tidy and paint things in general. It was helpful to have the engine out for all that. Hope my nuts don’t come off as my bolts are ‘wrong way in’, however I did make them captive with a spot of weld having determined their correct positioning. Another great video Paul, the’re all most appreciated, keep them coming! Rob

hi paul, another great episode, you make these videos a lot more enjoyable than mine, found the superglue trick funny, with me being accident prone not sure that would end up well with me,i have in the past with tricky bolts drilled a hole through them and sent a length of welding wire through them,,only need to get the bolts near then pull the wire and the bolt come through the hole,,some people i know elongate the holes for ease but im not a fan of that,a hole is that size for a bolt that size in my mind..keep up the great work...

Hi Paul, I was wondering if you had any ideas on why my clutch refuses to disengage when I push the clutch pedal in. I have bled the slave cylinder and adjusted the clutch arm return stop to .020 " Also I have adjusted the throw out stop. When I start the car after putting it in gear with the clutch depressed it lurches forward indicating that that there is no pressure being put on the pressure plate. I would appreciate any ideas on what could possibly be wrong.

Oooh Paul! Heart in mouth all the time watching this! If it had been me (accident prone by profession) within 5 minutes of taking off the breather for the drop gear housing I would have lost a 5/16 UNC bolt or washer down the orifice! Lovely clean engine, and thanks for the tape on finger super glue tip - does it work for the master cylinder clevis pins too? How does that mini ride with those Minitastic type coil springs? Thanks yet again for a super video.
