How FAST Can You Touch Grass in Persona?

- Touch grass, every Persona player has been told it at some point. And so today we'll do exactly that in this touch grass speedrun, and see just how quick we can touch grass in Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 FES! There is definitely plenty of time to be saved in these runs, but I'd say it's a start.

if you don't count metaverse grass, the earliest grass touch in Persona 5 is in Ryuji's social link when you go train behind the gym.

2:35 I love how this is almost universally considered one of the hardest things in the game, at least for people who don't live in Tokyo.
I... didn't realise this was considered hard, I just followed the signs in the building and they took me exactly where I needed to go >_>

I just checked the map, I never fast travel so I learnt how to do it and just kept doing it.
i got so lost but mainly causei wasnt paying attention and im used to games hand holding once i got my barings i finally foundit
@@spiritmuse For me, the issue was the way the camera kept changing angles. If it had been a straightforward 3PP camera in a single cohesive space, it wouldn't have been so bad. But the camera cuts and loading transitions are really disorientating, until you learn the layout.
I like how Persona series started at 3.

Trails in the Sky is in the country side. There is plenty of grass before you even control the character
@@stonalisa3729 Kuro no Kiseki has a small path of grass right where you start control, Trails of Cold Steel too... I think Trails From Zero is the longest you go without touching Grass, that or Cold Steel 2/3/4

In p5 you touched grass in a castle cave. That does not count and you know why. Whole point is to go outside before touching grass.
When he explains the challenge, he doesn't say that the grass has to be outdoors, just that he has to touch the nearest grass

In P3 you could probably avoid the final cutscene by going to the courtyard instead of the front entrance
Shiho jumping is real life grass, and even if the school cleanup where Kasumi Rank 1 happens were to be first instance of grass touching, it's on May 30th. Madarame's Palace requires 5 days, the day Madarame confesses is June 5th. There are exactly enough days to not have to go to Madarame's Palace a single time once the deadline starts, before May 30th

Can confirm; I have done low-level runs that postponed the entire Madarame's Palace infiltration (not counting the preliminary visit before the Mission Start date) until just after the May 30th cleanup event.
would going to the persimmon tree near the gym be faster? because you wouldn't need to deal with the cutscene

when it comes to p2 duology its pretty straightforward. there is some grass in the school backyardfor you to touch. but p1 and p2 fans dont really need to touch grass tho

This may surprise you, but there were Persona games that came before P3. That's why it's called Persona 3, it's the fourth Persona game.
you can go to park in anns second hangout which you can do before the park clean up however you would be forced to do kamoshida palace and a lot of story bs so the grass find was really lucky
Pretty sure that in the first event of the Ryujis confidente they are in grass while they run

Kamoshida is the last person I would think had grass in his palace
If you have P4G on PC, you can mod the game to remove the VHS FF sound effect. As a person sensitive to sounds it saved me a LOT of headache
Two seconds? It takes me at least two hours to get up the energy and actually head outside, so all this taught me was that it's quicker to do it in game instead

The earliest time you can touch grass in P1 is really fast, the area in St. Hermelin High with the hole in the fence, there is a ton of grass you can touch

Well, in p3 you can save time if instead of going to the main gate, just going to the hallway that leads you to the sports clubs, there is that tiny space of grass with the tree of the old couple social link.
I have to wait until the snow melts where I live to touch grass :( I've always wondered if touching snow is seen as an acceptable substitute for touching grass
