Amy Walsh's acting is incredible. At first I wasn't a fan of Tracy but over the years I've grown to liking her more and her character development is amazing.
Same here I have depression and there are times you can feel really freak out and jumpy I know Eric and the others didn’t intend to scare Tracey but they should’ve just left her alone Xx
The sigh Liam let out just before he came to Tracy made me realize actually what 'doctors' go through when confronting people struggling with health crises. The feeling of 'What shall I say, what shall I do!'
I really like how they wrote this. It's been only a month since Leanna died and for the first time, Liam was able to breathe because he was able to help someone else. And for the first time, Tracy was able to breathe because she was near someone who actually got it, who understood that crushing feeling in his own way.
Liam is my favourite character and I’m so glad that even though he’s got his own storyline at the moment he is able to be that supportive character for someone else’s storyline❤️
This was so well done. People think that PND is just feeling sad after the baby is born. It's more often like terror. You feel trapped in the situation with a baby that needs you, but you feel overwhelmed taking care of. You just want to escape before you hurt the baby.

She said she didn’t want to see Frankie or have people staring at her so Nate with Frankie, Cain and Belle sit in her line of vision. Talk about adding to her state of distress 😳
I had this when my son was born and still 3 years later I still have my times where I feel trapped and scared and all I do is cry. I was to afraid to speak up. People don't realise how bad PND really is there needs to be more support for parents
0:57 i’d cry if i saw that too, that’s really unsettling, and that isn’t me being mean but with someone with post-natal depression that could be seen as terrifying
I love Emmerdale, storylines have hit home in such big ways and helped me to deal with my past, This one not Emmerdale's fault but I personally feel it could have been handled differently. Having Nate walking up the road with babe in arms after Faith had phoned to say she's struggling, just so wrong. Give Tracey a bit of time away like a couple of days so she can sleep. Then gradually start the re bonding with her baby like a couple of hours a day then build up to full time. Many families offer to have the baby/toddler for a bit to give the mom a rest. She is not right which is visible and Belle has picked up on this.
LOL wtf Are you serious? I sometimes wonder how people that make comments like this get through life. Frank died over two years ago (which in soap may as well be 20 years ago) Yes Tracey was sad and misses her Dad but that has nothing to do with her breakdown. She has post natal depression. That is why she had a breakdown.
@@NarnianHogwart just because people die years ago doesn't mean people still don't grieve. Kerry and Amy took Frank away from Vanessa and Tracey causing them both to have breakdowns. Having a breakdown isn't just about one thing it's everything that happens to you comes flooding back the loss of her Dad Frank, her prostitution being dragged up, Jacobs abuse by Maya and recently because the pressure of being a Mum to Frankie
this breakdown has nothing to do with grief, if you’ve watched recent episodes (which it sounds like you haven’t) over weeks and months tracy has struggled with Post-natal depression. please learn the scenario before-hand. and Maya’s abuse of jacob, along with her prostitution is another subject which has nothing to do with this current matter. do your research
That is so far fetched, its not down to someone else causing it, it might make the situation worse but it’s not the cause. That is quite false to state that if people are reading your comments you needs to get the facts right regarding PND. If you have been pregnant you would be aware it’s hormonal and it takes time for the hormones to settle down. It’s different for every woman. It can be hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid) or hypothyroidism (under active thyroid) which is a hormone imbalance because the thyroid gland it is what produces hormones (it also helps to regulate your weight and helps the body to control its temperature) could be too much progesterone or ostrogen and (other similar chemicals the body produces) which are hormones that can run riff and need medication to get the imbalance back to normal. In some cases it’s caused by gestational diabetes which can occur during pregnancy. The mental side only contributes to it.
I understand Eric and others were doing their best to make sure Tracey was okay I don’t think it helped when they were chasing her when she hid in the car and then tapping on the car window that freaked her out Xx
Tracy isn’t unstable, she’s got post natal depression, which is something women can develop after having a bay. Yes men struggle as well but Nate is struggling because he doesn’t know what is wrong with Tracy, right now she’s more of a danger to herself than anyone else.

Amy Walsh is fabulous I cried watching those scenes poor Tracey I felt her pain Xx😢
I want Liam and Tracy develop a friendship and help each other through their problems I think it would be sweet
Yesss
Everyone chasing her into the car like that I'm not surprised she started to panic.
And tapping on her car even id be scared of that

I’m going through depression at the moment Emmerdale did an amazing job as did the the actors and actresses involved in the storyline Xx
She needs her sister back in the village 🤔🍀🍀
Surprised she didn’t notice she wasn’t her usual self when she was staying with her

Faith banging on the window is right going to help someone on a breakdown

Brilliant acting by Amy Walsh.

poor tracy :(
She needs help
So sad 😭😭
Kerry is actually responsible for Tracy's breakdown after the loss of her Dad Frank. Tracy's barely coped very well

They should of listened to belle if anybody gets it she does
This made me cry
Wow the writing was so sensitive 🙏
He should be a therapist, because he can really deal with this sort of depression.
He is a GP and sometimes they have to act as a therapist

Where is her sister
Vanessa is still staying with her mum after finding out that charity kissed mackenzie

Post natal depression. She’s most likely having a breakdown
