  • Only 5 minutes for programming? Are you sure?
Industrial robots and cobots have a fundamental difference in safety. Cobots were created to work with humans. Therefore, they are more mobile, and compact, with a more intuitive control interface. However, in both cases, programming works on similar principles: it is required to program each point of the robot's path. You also need to use a teach pendant or offline system for cobots, but it will just be a little simpler than for industrial robots.
To really solve the robot programming problem, you just need to stop programming. You need autonomous robots that can see the parts and perform the tasks you need. How it works, we show in our lab. Subscribe to our channel.
    About us:
We are a team of engineers who have developed cutting-edge software that makes robots more flexible and intelligent. In our lab, we test a wide range of robotic equipment. Join us! Let's share experiences in using robots and explore the possibilities of automation together.
Here are some of our topics:
    - How is robotic welding different from manual welding?
    - Main Types of Robotic Welding Processes, particularly Arc Welding
    - Types of Welding Robots, including cobots
    - Welding Robots Manufacturers (Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Panasonic)
    - Welding Machines Manufacturers (Lincoln, Miller, Fronius, Esab)
    - How are robots used in different industries?
    - Weld Quality
    - Robot Programming
    - AI and machine vision for robots

I LOVE wireless welding cobot, not cables only the torch.

I hate the new cobot teach pendant it's probably easier for a new person with no former experience. But I can program so much faster with a old teach pendant. Also that camera system would never work in the real world with complex fixtures and parts where some weld paths would blocked by fixture or other parts. Also camera would get in the way and would cause clearance issues. I mean it's cute and all but not realistic

      That's rubbish.
I'm a boily with 30 years in structural and non structural manufacturing.
Our cobot welder has patterned programs to pump out all the rigid, high repetition mundane parts by the 1000s.
We use a TA to load and unload and that frees up our welders for more complex jobs a robot can't do.
The $180,000 investment paid for itself in 6 months

This is a cool idea, but what application will they really excel in? Automated window washing rigs?

The main cobot applications are Handling, Palletizing, Loading/Unloading, and Inspection. Our channel is about robotic welding. We prefer industrial robots for welding, not cobots. But as you can see in the video, our software is also compatible with Cobots.
