UGREEN M.2 NVMe Hard Drive Enclosure SSD Review & unboxing + Speed Results

See in this video the UGREEN M.2 SSD hard drive enclosure review and unboxing with performance speed results. This is a very useful and quality made external USB M.2 NVMe enclosure or case. I went through unboxing this quickly and then did a review on the usb nvme ssd enclosure. Plus I also used CrystalDiskMark and CrystalDiskinfo to show performance for read and write operations and check the temperature case during ssd disk read and write operations. It stayed cool through out the many speed test that I did with the UGREEN M.2 NVMe Hard Drive Enclosure. The UGREEN SSD enclosure is handy to have around when you need to access a few storage files fast.

I bought an M.2 NVME SSD and it was my first time installing this.
I was trying to be careful when putting the SSD into the enclosure, but kept getting an "Incorrect Function" error when trying to initialize the disk.
Only after watching your video did I realise that I had to really push the SSD into the enclosure.
Finally initialized the disk. Thank you so much.

Hi, I think you're supposed to include the thermal pad (the white rectangle) on top of your SSD so that the heat can transfer to the chassis.

That's true. However, I have several SSD cards and I'm constantly swapping them in and out. So I just leave the case mostly open and have no heat issues.

Sir, can you recommend some SSDs for this enclosure? I just want a cheap way to store my files as a backup on it. 1 TB would be ideal.

Hello. I bought this for an old M.2 from my previous laptop. I've set it up as instructed the but the drive isn't being recognised. Can you advise at all? Thanks

1) You might have to reformat the drive. 2) The drive might be defective.

What is the purpose of this drive ?? Is it only for storage like a USB Flash Drive ???

It's a second SSD drive for your system. For storage, backup...etc...games...etc.

As I owned that same enclosure, you can install Linux (with separate partition) on it too.
