The foreshadowing and the irony hurts on this one. Grian and BigB being secret soulmates and then Grian being the one to end BigB's series just killed me.
If I had a nickel for every time Grian and Scar were paired up together, tried to monopolize sand, stole a banner from Ren, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird, that it happened twice
This might be my favorite season and I cant fully explain it. Seasons 1 and 2 may be more exciting, but this season had a very social atmosphere with players working together and surviving. Plus it had some epic moment like scar's bucket clutch.
My favorite are probably this and limited life, double life for the chaos of things like 5 am pearl and the warden. Limited life because bad boys, tactical boogie, etho being washed up, the family shenanigans, and to episodes of final session energy.
Mood. I think this season really solidified the friendships between ALL the players, setting the stage for the absolutely incredible interactions and improv in the fourth season. Plus boat boys, bad maths, and ranchers were all A+ dynamics we hadn’t gotten before
Okay I loveee how right at 12:10 when grian says "Whoever I am with is desperatly trying to get me killed" Scar just shows up right out of nowhere, it is amazing.

I never expected grian to be the one playing out anforbidden love story as he is pulled between the man he is destined for, the ones who earn his love and the one he seeks, with the knowledge that at the end of the day, he is doomed to perish.

My introduction to the life series, then hermitcraft, and now all these wonderful people! ❤ Lots of people put DL as their non-favourite season but for me it was the best! Also love the thumbnail! So glad Cherry now makes them for you too!
This is my absolute FAVORITE season, it stands out from all others and maybe thats why i love it so much. Unlike the rest of the seasons that feel more like Survivor and are generally very epic, this one feels more like a very epic romcom or telenovela. It makes double life so charming and endearing to me, ITS SOOO DRAMATIC IN THE BEST WAYS
The part where Etho and Joel just appear behind scar and grian at the cake eating after they got to red was so smooth it was like they just spawned in. 2:00:10
Man this season was my favorite. Dont get me wrong, I very much enjoy all the others. This one though will always stick out for its story lines and all the crazy shenanigans.

I genuinely think “Monopoly is my game” is one of the best lines from Double Life. They are such pro Minecraft players that they killed a WARDEN with FISHING RODS. I think that’s just hilarious.
This season probably had some of the best moments in the whole series. For me, stalactite is still #1 'best' death - if it had been planned & practiced in advance it still wouldn't have gone off like that
I think it's interesting how the 2 longest surviving teams were the ones that split up. I think the main reason is that when they were fighting together, they really had double the chance to take damage, whereas staying apart made sure that they likely wouldn't be taking damage at the same time, and therefore were less likely to have their health take large chunks.

Double life is probably my favorite- each of the seasons all give a very specific emotion/vibe and I don't know how to describe it, but double life's vibe is my favorite :D Edit: the only way I can think to describe it is through colors/ images- 3rd life feels like light but warm colors, last life reminds me of iron armor, so silver I guess, double life is VERY blue- Idk why- and limited life is a just barley dull red does anyone else view things like this? Really want to document this really quick Today i was watching this movie, and at some time i fell asleep (i was really tired from work, and i generally don't have a lot of energy) I had a 3 hour long nap. And saw a really detailed dream about Grian and others from Life series. The dream was about a new series called "Dark Life" where some of players secretly was vampires. I don't really understand what the goal of series was, and don't remember many of the rules Grian was a vampire, and was a little too exited about it. He messed around with people a lot. He was joking how some people's blood was nasty, and mad Bdubs very angry with him. Etho became a vampire hunter. And funny enough, Jimmy was a vampire too, and did very well for himself. At first he struggled because nobody expected anything serious from him. But then he used it to his own advantage 😅 Scar was a human (regularly attacked by Grian). Joel and Lizzie was parted, because she was a vampire, and he's not. Don't know about Scott, Ren, Pearl and others. But it was a pure chaos as always Don't remember much to be honest. Since it was a dream many things made little sence. But it was fun, and i wanted to share it! Thanks 🌸

Tnt duper over the end platform... No one could get you. Use chat to bargain for supplies and if the dragon is killed you can send ender pearls back. However it wouldn't make for great content so they probably wouldn't do it. But maybe if there were more than one member there...
