This and the axle video are simply outstanding. Thank you so much. I mean you have done a great job!!!!!!
You’re welcome
We ordered our Casita with an Anderson. It has so many moving part that I'm a little intimidated. Our old sway bar was one piece. Thanks for giving us so many pointers!
Your welcome
Everything’s so clean ! . .Impressive .
Thank you
Really enjoying your videos, thanks
Thanks for watching!
thanks for showing the WDH disconnect process
You’re welcome
Your welcome
Would love a vehicle more in-depth on your experience with the Jeep. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you, I will work on that.
@@CasitaRvLife Woops, I meant to say "would love a video more in-depth..." Thank you :-)
@@karenk3593 no problem I understood it
You can not go wrong with CRC products remember WD 40 is not a lubricant! Great video!
Great point! thank you.
WD40= Water Displacement 40th formula.
Hello, are you still towing the Casita with the JL, just wondering since we will be picking up our Casita in 3 weeks and have a Sahara ourselves.
Yes we are still towing with our Sahara JL. We are actually on our second Sahara because we put so many miles on the first towing our Casita. We have been cross country 8 times with the first Sahara. We use the Andersen WD hitch and it tows great.
@@CasitaRvLife Thank you for your response, we will be picking up our Casita in 3 weeks and I'll be posting videos on my CZcams channel if you're interested
I will check it out
Did that ball mount come with the Anderson hitch package from Casita? I really don’t need any of that. My Ford F 150 4x4 has a huge tow capacity. I did change the jack on the casita to a adjustable one . That way it would not hit my tailgate . Thanks for Video.
The ball mount is part of the Andersen hitch assembly.

Thanks for sharing.
I have a 2014 F150 and tow a Casita 17 with the hitch right on the ball, no WDH is needed, the truck does not squat more than an inch. Sway is not a problem either as the F150 is 4900 lbs, trailer 2700 lbs. The trailer is too light to affect the truck's stability.

I only use the sway bar on the Highway! Don’t need the WDH . The adjustable Jack on Casita is great ! I replaced original one . 👍
@@richardhouvener6423 Do you have 4Wheel or two wheel drive? I have a 2011 F-150 with a 6 speed automatic transmission and 5.0 V8 but it is only two wheel drive. What kind of vehicle mileage do you get? THX!
Is this a 17ft casita?
How much tongue weight is your set? my Jeeps max rating is 350lbs and I noticed most casita are right above limit when loaded.
My tongue weight is 300 lbs. this puts me between 10 and 15 percent of the trailer weight.
I have a stock 2020 JLUR and I am surprised you get 20 mpg towing. The EPA rating is 20 combined/22 hwy and we average 20 mpg. Curious as to how you get such good fuel economy? Are you doing any particular maintenance on the fuel system?
When we are towing I average 15 - 17 mpg. When I got the 20 mpg was in Texas with a strong tailwind. I was surprised to get it.
@@CasitaRvLife That makes sense. Thanks for the response.
Nice video! Do you typically get 20 mpg towing the Casita with the Jeep? Is that pretty common?
I average 17 mpg
how did you learn how to do this ? Very interesting - i have a lot to learn !
A lot of studying and a lot of research. I am sure you will do great at it.
I just started hearing some problems with Anderson sway. How is it holding up for you??
I have never had any issues. The hitch works great for me towing the Casita. I have used the hitch cross country and back six time and it worked great.
MPG is impressive. Is it the Ecodiesel V6?
v6 gas
That's a JLU
Yes
