An Evening from the Museum with Elder LeGrand R. Curtis Jr.

Ever wondered how The Doctrine and Covenants came to be scripture? As we reach the mid-point of this year’s Come, Follow Me study, we invite you to join Elder LeGrand R. Curtis., Jr., in an Evening from the Museum presentation about the history of this sacred volume of scripture.
Elder Curtis is the current Church Historian and Recorder and Executive Director of the Church History Department of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this presentation he will share fascinating descriptions of how revelations originally came to the Prophet Joseph Smith and were written down by his scribes, efforts publish the revelations, and revisions and additions that have made up to the present day. He will also highlight art and artifacts from the museum collection and original documents in the archives of the Church History Library that relate to sections of The Doctrine and Covenants.
