I have a Christmas cookie competition to get ready for at our Christmas party and I knew I’ve seen a recipe for soft sugar cookies but I couldn’t remember where I had seen it..I want just plain, all round (not cut in shapes)soft cookies, to decorate and bang! I found it in this video! Thanks so much for all you do. I also got the orange creamsicle recipe too..double blessing! Merry Christmas to you and your whole loving family!

I have learned over the years to make cookies the easier way. When you work making cookies from scratch is time consuming and tiring. I now use things like refrigerated cookie dough or Betty crocker cookie mix. People at work still like them and eat them.

Thanks so much for the cookie recipes! I love that several were made from boxed cake or brownie mixes. Sometimes I need to make something to take but it’s difficult since I don’t have wheat flour in the house. I’ve tried using pouches of cookie mix or refrigerated dough and doctoring it up, but i have to buy several to make enough and they’re only “okay” so not very satisfactory. Your recipes will save me from buying a big bag of flour and then wasting whatever’s left. I can just make the cookies with the cake mix and be done! 💕
The no bake cookies you showed are called reindeer poop by my family! Also love the soft sugar cookies for the little kids who are more interested in frosting and decorating instead of cutting the shapes from rolled dough. I’m old school and don’t care for the cake mix cookies but understand it’s simple and easier to do

A friend used to do a cookie with devils food cake mix called Everything but the Kitchen Sink cookies. You threw in oatmeal, nuts, chocolate chips, coconut, raisins, butterscotch or peanut butter chips- pretty much whatever you have on hand.The oatmeal makes them chewy and they are so good! My fav not so easy to make cookies are Cherry Winks from the corn flake box. Best cookie ever.

I have 4 adult children, 2 were primarily breast fed and 2 were tragically formula fed. Growing up, they were all obviously exposed to the same consumables and environment. The two that were mostly breast fed have had way fewer health issues and seem to be more intellectually healthy, where the 2 that we naively allowed excessive formula ingestion have bad NOTHING but health and psychological issues! Just because man can make chemical substitutes for things, does not mean they are providing you ANYTHING that qualifies as legitimate alternative. Our "science" will be our downfall!!

There is so much NATURAL micronutrients that science probably has yet to see, not to mention the unknown consequences of being denied proper balance of various micro and macro nutrients and resulting unknown nutrients resulting from THOSE unknown nutrients in combination. That's a long winded way of saying that MAN is NOT as smart as he thinks he is and even good intentions are behind unnecessary pain, misery and death! Cause and effect are great teachers. Look at the increases in once rare conditions and the RETURN of once diminished diseases. Our efforts are as futile as holding water in our hands and not allowing a single drop to pass through our fingers!
I'm sure this will upset many but we're a pre- christian family of 4 generations. We do the solstice seasonal celebration and then Santa for the fun and food on the 25th. Works for us.
love em' here's peanut butter cookies: 1 egg 1 cup peanut butter (soft creamy style) 1/2 cup sugar (granulated) mix peanut butter with sugar well - then add the egg and mix that well ... done .. use clear wrapper and place your peanut butter on it and wrap /shape it into a log type ... not small but large enough to make a 1/2" slices ... now freeze it for about 45 min - to make a solid roll .... oven should be preheated to 350° .... when ready -- cut your peanut butter log into 1/2 " pieces and place them on a tray and baked for 15-17 min .... let it cool down and you're ready ...

I love your video I use a white cake mix for my sugar cookies it’s 1box 2/3cup flour 2eggs1/3c oil&2 T sour cream I make these for our kids program at church they are a hit
Try making these Peanut butter Snickers Cookies: Use any peanut butter cookie recipe you like. Roll into balls and then flatten in the palm of your hand. Next, place a Snickers Mini in the middle of the flattened cookie and roll the cookie around the Snickers. Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes.

my favorite cookie that she made was the chocolate andes mint cookies.( because i absolutely love chocolate& mint together so i would absolutely make these cookies next Christmas when we get a cookie pan)
Just a note when using honey if you take cooking spray and spritz what ever you are measuring it with and what ever your putting it in to pour into your recipe the honey slips right out when you pour it so that your not wasting it or fighting with it.

You know I know exactly what you’re saying, I hate the woke crowd that refuses to say Christmas but I do wanna point out that I watch a lot of really old Christmas movies from the 1940s 50s etc. and they use the term “happy holidays“. So saying holiday doesn’t automatically mean that you’re against saying Christmas
There are other holidays around the same time as the Christian “Christmas”. It’s a shame that people are so close minded that they don’t want to recognize them. What about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Rohatsu? I was raised in a Christian home but no longer consider myself a Christian. They are usually too judgmental and not inclusive at all.

My woke friends do not even let their Daughter believe in Santa Claus from birth. They say I want my Daughter to know the gifts are from the parents, not Santa Claus. Happy to hear you celebrate the magic of Christmas with your little ones.

Love these recipes. We call No Bake cookies, Crack Cookies. Love them! I made choco chip cookies recently, and froze the dough balls. At the end of my Bunco party, I gave each of the 11 ladies, mostly single, a little bag of 4 cookie dough balls. They loved that idea. How many of your recipes can I make and freeze? Would like to make ahead.
We love Snickerdoodles...but I've always heard it isn't a Snickerdoodle unless the recipe calls for cream of tartar (which gives it the Snickerdoodle "tang"). Is there a reason you left that out? Would it change the result if it was added?
These are so good.. for the skinny chunky monkey cookies, instead of peanut butter, can I use Nutella or almond butter or cashew butter? We don’t like peanut butter too much… thanks so much!
The no bake cookies were probably the first cookies I learned to make, but we called them Candy Cookies. I've heard them called Preacher Cookies and Cow Patties, but not Gorilla Poop! We didn't have scoops back then, so they were a lot flatter using spoons to dip out onto wax paper.

Love these recipes. We call No Bake cookies, Crack Cookies. Love them! I made choco chip cookies recently, and froze the dough balls. At the end of my Bunco party, I gave each of the 11 ladies, mostly single, a little bag of 4 cookie dough balls. They loved that idea. How many of your recipes can I make and freeze? Would like to make ahead.
They are just so addicting!! I love them!
We love Snickerdoodles...but I've always heard it isn't a Snickerdoodle unless the recipe calls for cream of tartar (which gives it the Snickerdoodle "tang"). Is there a reason you left that out? Would it change the result if it was added?

When you say X amount of cookies on your cookie sheet. Is that how much the recipe yeilds??? If so I'll need double recipie then.

Ditch the foil and use parchment. Foil gets metal into the food. Never want it to touch food directly

These are so good.. for the skinny chunky monkey cookies, instead of peanut butter, can I use Nutella or almond butter or cashew butter? We don’t like peanut butter too much… thanks so much!

The no bake cookies were probably the first cookies I learned to make, but we called them Candy Cookies. I've heard them called Preacher Cookies and Cow Patties, but not Gorilla Poop! We didn't have scoops back then, so they were a lot flatter using spoons to dip out onto wax paper.
Gramma called them no bake fudgies. So interesting to see it known by so many names, but bring so many good memories.
