Scam, you never mention how much the card values in total vs how much you ponzied to Rev. All I heard was how much he is an upstanding guy and we aren't scamming anyone what a joke. You guys are clowns. I'm here for the show!

Personally don’t think they’re worth buying unless you’re super lucky, especially at the current price points. Danny’s was the best cause the value was insane and it was his passion project to provide a good experience for mystery pack openers. Would be interesting to know what PokeRev or any of the others selling for profit are making on these though.

I agree with needing a few more premium packs in the gold tier. But I just can't spend 55 dollars every time for mostly 6 modern packs. If I made content sure but for fun nah I'm good haha. But another banger video!
Hey again Liss. Just got around to watching this and I enjoyed the commentary. We have a like-minded view of mystery packs, in general. I passed on Rev's V5 and I'll pass on the December drop too, but good luck to all who buy them. I understand the cynicism too I see in at least one comment here, but I think Rev's packs are 100% legit, for the reasons you state. The one thing I wonder about, especially with his big monthly drops, is ongoing supply. I'm assuming sealed vintage Pokemon cards are like the world's oil supply: they're eventually going to run dry. With Rev's massive output, I wonder how long he can keep selling these. Time will tell. Looking forward to your Phanny Packs opening. Mine remain sealed, for now...

I love watching mystery pack openings. I just can’t justify spending money buying them myself. I’ve bought one Pokichloe and pokerev pack. It takes 5 minutes to open and the fun is gone… but I’ll always support them in other ways. Thank you for absorbing the cost for most of our entertainment 💙🎄🤗
Whatever works for you! I totally get that, honestly that was mostly me before I started my channel. Now I can justify it a little bit more with creating content. Glad I’m able to provide you with some of that entertainment without you having to take the risk yourself.

Opening all packs are a gamble
Every one should understand that
Opening packs are not a gamble since pokemon doesn't associate fair dollar values to any cards. Pokemon is for ripping packs, putting together decks, collecting your favorites, etc. it's only a gamble if you buy with intent to resell.
This was fun to watch! You should do the iconic mystery box “holo-day 2023” next! Seem cool.

You can only lose money unless you get a gold or rainbow bag that's why it's gambling. It's a 4% to a pull a gold bag if you don't count any of the other colors so it's more like 0.02% to get a gold bag if you include odds for all colors.
The Rev Mystery Packs are so freaking expensive I cannot justify spending $50+ on one of them. I refuse to purchase them. Glad you do this so I don’t have to.

I love them. Love the fact you have the ability to be able to score higher value packs. They're a fun way to open packs
mhm you're paying for the chance to get something vintage or more valuable. It's a gamble, but as long as you know what risk you're taking and the company and/or poketuber are honest about the pull rates, I see no problem. :) Thanks for watching

I feel like the god pack would be skinnier cuz you're getting each tier envelope rather than a stack of five packs and a mystery bag. I've seen some pictures of people posting them but not before they open them so I can see what the bag looks like
I think it includes the 4 tiers and 2 modern packs still to make it a total of 6 packs. But I think that’s what Pokerev said in a video.
He's definitely not weighing because the only gold I've gotten was a jungle with a holo venomoth in it.

Packs are fun if you want to take a gamble at packs you would never buy normally
I think another improvement for his mystery packs, is to make the green tier packs have premium modern packs in them such as Crown Zenith, 151, Evolving Skies, etc…

I honestly dont mind buying the mystery packs from vault rev and danny. They are honest up front about the odds and always include something crazy to chases for, and thats what makes collection as as adult fun. Knowing the risk and continuing the chase

I enjoy them, it's no different that buying regular packs at a store, can't blame him if you don't pull anything. I've had some decent pulls from the packs so I doubt he weighs them. Yes you may pay some more but I enjoy opening them so it's good enough for me.

I think packs should be tiered via value. Evolving skies and burning shadows are two different generations but cost is approximate to each other. and like you said team up is $50, but burning shadows is $10. Not the same imo.

I think mystery packs are a significant risks. But I personally trust the packs are exactly as advertised and unweighted. They can profit without being dishonest.
Mhm arguably and from a business standpoint they will profit more if they stay honest, especially with their reputation on the line. They built a personal brand that would go VERY south quickly if they did something shady.
So true. But since watching Pokerev packs and other mystery packs... I have yet to see anyone pull an Alt Art or something good. Usually V cards or nothing at all

Personally, I wouldn’t buy them. But for content, yes, I watch it.
I know people that just watch mystery box openings but don’t buy them. It’s a great way to still experience them without the risk, so good for you! Whatever works for you.

Suggesting that Pokerev or any other prominent seller of mystery packs needs word of mouth is completely off. Think about the speed at which those products are sold through. As soon as they're promoted on the channel they're often gone. If they're hoping to release another wave then it might make some difference but by that time they'll have already made their money. Pokerev and others know there is no true value to these modern sets. They're likely buying wholesale and distributing poorly seeded "vintage" packs that don't come close to allowing them to merely break even. They're making money, tons of it. I like when people that work in some industry use terminology that is just made up as if they work in the medical field or something that doesn't merely revolve around ideas lol The point is, these packs can and apparently have been released without any concern as to how they're portrayed by CZcamsrs lmao I've yet to see any true yield from any of these....

Putting sword shield base and scarlet violet base is suspect why would you need to profit from mystery boxes if you make money from your content all mystery boxes are scams!
