It's so obvious that their weigh the vintage packs in these to make sure they aren't handing out something valuable. Which is a real shame in these products.
I don't think I'd take the chance unless I saw you got a heavy pack there at the end. I feel like those companies hand pick what they want in those boxes and if it's a massive hitter it's not going in there.
facts, the only thing i dislike about these is that you can weigh the vintage packs, most companies or accounts that do this probably weigh them and throw in maybe one or two actual holo packs per like 50-60 so that they donât lose money :/

Mystery boxes are always a big gamble considering most are scams. But these actually seem like pretty fair ones. Nice gym challenge pack.

Just seeing a graded energy card, Iâd never risk money on a mystery pack from there. The gym pack is a great find but I wouldnât be down to just get a graded energy đ. The celebi Venu is dope tho.

You wouldn't be rich very long if this is what you did with your money. She actually got very lucky, but still lost quite a bit here. For $600 dollars you could have bought 14 Vmax Climax sealed BB's summer 2022. Now they'd be worth over $2K. Or, last year when wave 3 of evolving skies came out, they were $110/BB still in unopened cases. A full case of evolving skies (now worth almost 3 grand).. or a graded energy, a rainbow, and a light pack... and this was better than most do.

Honestly, these guys aren't going to toss heavy 1st edition packs in there. Same with Rev packs, etc. They use these mystery boxes to dump all of the light packs. People will be "ecstatic" just to get a vintage that they will consider themselves satisfied even though it's light. Everyone keeps their heavy packs or sells them as heavy packs. You don't want to be that guy selling only light packs... thus the vintage mystery box was created. I don't like the whole pack weighing issue and glad it's no longer a thing. Now that you know it's a light pack, what do you do with it? If you accumulate enough light packs, you can create mystery boxes.. đ€·ââ
I really donât believe Rev weighs his packs. Not just because I trust him in general but also because 1. His reputation is on the line 2. People have gotten heavy vintage packs from his mystery packs. But everyone gets to make their own decision about who they trust.
Light 1st edition packs can be graded and kept sealed and are very sought after for vintage/sealed collectors. Feel free to not buy mystery packs if you're not willing to gamble and lose, that's part of the game.
@@PokiLiss Most vintage packs don't have very expensive cards. For example, base set charizard is about half the price of Moonbreon, raw. I'm talking first editions, shadowless, legendary collection... the packs that you can actually pull big. I doubt he woul weigh a "call to legends" pack because there is nothing inside those that is worth money. Most vintage is like that, in fact. For vintage to be worth real coin, it needs a stamp, shadowless, or both. Otherwise, sure you could pull a $300 Shining Tyranitar from Neo... but $300 is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Moden cards are going for 5X that in some cases. If you see a 1st edition stamp... the pack is weighed. Show me a single instance where someone opened a 1st edition holo out of a rev pack, or a shadowless. Find me an example, I'd change my mind. Unlimited sets? Yea, he's probably not weighing those.. If it has a stamp, it's weighed.
@@flashbrandon I think Pokemon cards are expensive enough as is.. no reason to build another middle man into it who wants their slice of margin. What's next, a mystery box filled with random mystery boxes? How many people are going to take their cut in profits? Just buying cards, even at distribution prices, is expensive. I never pay over $80 for an English BB... opening that is still an entertainment expense. If you could make money from opening $80 BB's, companies would not be selling booster boxes, they'd be card farming.
@@pokenips I don't buy booster boxes or mystery packs, I just buy singles of what I want/collect. Each collector is different and will decide what is worth their time/money/risk. Same for companies/sellers, they're free to do as they please with offering products and the consumer gets to decide if their product is worth purchasing at their asking price. To each their own.
So each pack costs 200⏠or $ and you are not even guaranteed something vintage. I know that you did get a vintage pack but the first box was pretty bad.
I emailed them and apparently the first box they sent me was a mistake and theyâre sending me a new mystery box to open. Iâll be opening that new one on my channel.
